| As I have announced previously, I am hoping to create an RPG based on the Felarya Universe using RPG Maker. Unfortunately, I'm not perfect (hard to believe, I know ), and I highly doubt I can make it by myself. Therefore, I need to ask for help The majority of what I need is graphics (Pictures, custom sprites, maybe some animations, etc) I would also appreciate any and all ideas, about anything, that you can contribute. If you can help me with these things, please let me know. Thanks in advance . P.S. I plan to include as much about Felarya as possible. Rather than asking each individual person to use their character, I am instead going to ask you to let me know if you don't want one of your characters or ideas included in the game. | |

| Ooof, I don't want to be pessimistic or anything, but you should forget about it. Felarya is just a bit too big for it. Not to mention dangerous. You'll have to tone it down significantly to make it fair, and that would shatter its reputation of untammable wilderness. Furthermore, I couldn't play, I would feel too uncomfortable. I don't know why I feel like that. | |

| if you want pictures or information of my guy then my deviantart page is a good place to start. Here's the link again: http://mickilla.deviantart.com/gallery/
If that isn't enough you can always just ask for anything else that's still in question.

| As much as I would love to help, I have no experience at all yet in cgi animation and sprites. Best of luck with it though. The only advice I can give is to try and stick as close as possible to what Felarya really is according to Karbo's work. Don't veer off into the mainstream as it will probably just go unnoticed. I should really stop procrastinating and figure out how all these flash animation/adobe/serif photolabs and film making programs that I spent a fortune on actually work. | |

| I'm having one of those "What the hell did I just sign myself up for?!" moments. This project is DEFINITELY gonna take a while. I'll try to post updates on my progress, though. Here's my first progress update - 3/24/2008 - I delved deeper into exploration of RPG Maker XP, playing around with various features. Watched a map-making tutorial video on YouTube. Felt like crying as I realized I'm going to have to make probably around 300 or so maps for the game, and just watching that video took a while. Almost cried when it occurred to me that the tutorial I watched didn't include events, which will probably quadruple the amount of time needed for each map. Got curious about custom menus. Regretted curiosity when I discovered that I may have to learn Ruby to create custom menus. Once again felt like crying. Downloaded a pre-made script that does all kinds of neat things with text in the game. Forgot about wanting to cry. Thought about how cool it would be to put some of the text features in a custom menu. Remembered complexity of custom menus. Felt like crying. ...I think I need a hug (Preferably by a naked, attractive female of no less than 60 feet in height...and who won't eat me afterward ) | |

| Hehe, some things are worth risking one's life for, and bosoms the size of buses are among them. | |

Ah well don't feel obliged to continue if you believe it will eat you really too much time Don't worry, I'll continue. Most of my complaining is usually in jest. Siseri- You called? Haar- *Thinking about it for a second* ...I said 'in jest,' not 'ingest!' ( I know, it was a bad pun, but I couldn't resist )

| I'm not familiar with RPG maker so I can't help you there. My suggestion, don't make it fair! If it uses random battles, make a chance of having to fight an essential "you lose" battle | |

| It looks great. Only thing I would say is more trees. Felarya is rather more jungle-y than that. I could definately see a mermaid suddenly appearing to attack people who cross the bridge. XD | |

| Not bad at all, keep at it and the more scenery you can get in there the better. | |

| i believe that a larger river would be in order.(like one that takes up 2 mapes)
maybe some weak points on the bridge that fall through with you on it into the water then make the person escape some mermaids (but im the kind of person that wants an unbeatable game)

| Pretty nice. Though I always thought that river had plenty more trees in the surroundings. | |

| I think the bridge seems too wide, there's no way someone would fall if he stays in the middle, and maybe you should make it longer. It's too short to be disturbed by Anko, you just dash and it's over. If it's a long bridge and it took you a while just to reach the middle where she will appear. You will have a hard time staying focused to complete the other half knowing that if you fall, you end up as dinner, and this is assuming Anko simply stays still mouth wide open the whole trip. Imagine the trek knowing that she'll even help in making you fall by shooting water on it, wether she simply does the water hose or just do a huge splash. This would be the closest thing to the real deal in my opinion. | |

| Like the others said, thicker foliage and a wider river.
Still, that's quite impressive. It looks like it could very easily shape up into something wonderful.
Keep up the good work! Or I'll throw miscellanious household items!

| Impressive really ! Like the others I would say more trees and maybe thick grass I don't know this program but the possibilities seems mind-blowing ! | |

| Now that Everyone mentions it, a wide river would be good. If you were doing the Jewel River. Or some other large river. There are small rivers too. Streams and such. And now that I think about it, not every place has thick foliage, just most places. This could easily be a clearing with a stream running by. But the majority would have to have dense trees, or as dense as possible without obscuring the view too much. Now if you want to put in the Jewel River, it'd be five to ten screens across I'd think. Five to get to the Mysterious Temple. Although I may be overexaggerating a tad. | |

| Oh wow our first view into what it will look like! Looking good so far, how big can you make the creatures? As big as you want to be able to include Anko and the like emerging from the water/foliage? Keep up the great work, really looking forward to seeing this develop. | |
