Kyle wiped the dirt off him and fized his glasses.

He looked around and found his drawing pad which he picked up

Michael, ignoring the others, smiled at Crisis as he let his guard down.

I kept my rifle trained on him, but my finger was no longer on the trigger. "Where is this place?" I said, starting to lower the rifle.

"What he said. A bad place where a lot of creatures want to eat you and the only way to survive is using teamwork and/or stealth" i said trying to clarify things with her, "I don't suppose you have any extra uniforms? I'm good with a gun, but the clothing kyle drew me isn't quite suited for the jungle, I'm much moreat home in MARPATS and MOLLE."

((The MARPATS and MOLLE thing is true, I play airsoft, and I'm really at home on the field in full gear))

"No, I don't have any that could fit you." I said, looking him over. "Besides, I think the female uniform would look a tad silly on you." I said, letting my rifle hang down by the sling as I reached up and removed my Kevlar, revealing my short red hair. My eyes were still consealed behind sunglasses though. "And the other thing you're talking about? Retired. We don't have them anymore. And pardon me if I don't remove my sunglasses. My eyes are a little light-sensitive." I said, as I looked at him head-on. Visable under my left eye was a 4-inch vertical scar, which seemed a hint as to why they're light-sensitive. "Though back at the humvee there were to others who had died....though I already took their ammo. Anyway, where's the closest civilized place at?" I said, looking around, one hand on the pistol grip of the rifle, the other on my hip.

((MOLLE is also what a lot of people call their Tac Vests because it has the MOLLE fastening system and allows for attachments of various pouches in the same way that the traditional rucksack does))

"Damn...do you have any gear we could scavange or are you dry? And I don't know about the whole closest civilized place thing. All I do know is, we're gonna need a map or something, and when or if we get there, we're gonna need cash..."

I just stood there mouth gapping and my eyes twitching.All these technology talk was hurting brain so i sat down and started drawing a weaponvthat looked alot like a double barreled shotgun

(I have never heard any Marines call their 782 gear "MOLLIE")

"I don't think so. I took whatever I could find useful." I said, shaking my head. "Besides, we were carrying armor plating for humvees. Can't do much with those unless you got another vehicle."

"I may have a solution for that...Kyle, whatever you're doing, stop. We need you to draw one of those," I said pointing to the totaled Humvee, "Think you can do that?"

((I've heard it many times, odd. Sgt. Tant at the recruiter's office here calls them that all the time, same with Will and Ryan and a bunch of the guys that I airsoft with, which is a wide range of Army, Navy [Even 1 ex-navy seal], and Marines...mostly Marines...))

Kyle looked at the totaled Humvee.
"You want me to draw another humvee?"he asked

(Thought we were nowhere near the wreak..)

((No, remember, I walked up on you before you got out of sight of it.))

"Yes, another humvee"

Fine"i said as i started to draw a humvee

"Good, ma'am, wanna give me a hand unloading that armor plating?"

"Why? We can't install it. And with this undergrowth, I think it might be best to go on foot..." I said, looking around, noticing the undergrowth around us.

"I disagree. From what've noticed, the predators like to swallow live prey, a vehicle would give us some protection, and it would help us move faster. We want to get out of this jungle as fast as possible, on foot we are way more exposed and vunerable."

Kyle finished drawing the humvee.
it looked like a heavily armed Hummer with a 12 mm cannon turrent on its roof.

"Dude, youve gotta do this!" My friend, Jax said. Yeah, Jax. Wierd name, I know. But still, knowing the guy, scales and all, it's not that weird. And yeah, that's right, I said scales. You see, Jax is a water demon. And why he always folds that stupid fin-hawk of his to the side i'll never know, it'd look better standing staight like it's supposed to. Anyways, back to the action.

"You gotta be kidding me man. There's no way I'm jumping through it! What if that freaky succubus from third period put it here? I don't really want to get raped to death in my sophmore year." I said defiantly, crossing my arms to get my point across as a small flame flickered in my eyes. No, litterally, a real, live, black flame flickered infront of my face.

"Aww, come on you big chicken! I though vampires were supposed to be the strongest demons around here!" He complained. I sighed, feeling my fangs tremble slightly at the urge to just shut him up once and for all. Thankfully, after years of being this guy's friend, I had practice at ignoring it. Lots, and lots of practice.

"Haru, dude, what if it's that girl you like?" he said, grinning "You know, that hot sorceress chick from lunch? The one i've been seeing giving you the eye all year?" He taunted, grinning and revealing rows and rows of sharp teeth. Sighing in resignation, I turned to look at the portal.

"If it was her, you know I wouldn't even be able to SEE this portal dude, magic dosn't work on m-eee~!?" I was cut off as he shoved me forwards into the portal with a "Luck be with you then dude!"

Damn him...just..damn him back to the swamp he crawled out of. Seriously.

And that was it, that was all I could remember as I passed out.

I opened my eyes, yawning slightly and hearing gasps from all around. Blinking, I looked up to see a large group of humans around me. How did I know they were human and not other youkai? They REEKED of human. This whole room REEKED of human. And, apparently, they had seen my fangs. Not good.

You see, youkai aren't supposed to reveal themselves to humans in any way. Myself being a half-vampire, I was set aside from that one fact. My fangs always gave me away.

"errr...Hi?"

hope that's not too long for my first post *sweatdrops* and the fact I only mentioned my name once...

I got up from sitting down and gave the two the drawing i had made.I looked down and sighed.My shirt and pants were ripped in places due to the local plant life around here.I shifted painfully due to the bruises on my back and shoulders from falling many times.
*this is the worst day of my life*i thought

Michael waved Crisis goodbye, and then began to explore so he could find other humans.

In an apartment in a small town in North carolina, a guy named Brent was busy checking his e-mail and doing a post on the Felarya forum. Then he checked his watch, closed the laptop, and put it in a backpack along with his Nintendo Ds, some Batman comic books, and his iPod nano. You see, Brent was going to go to a friend's house that day, and as such, he usually took those things along.

However, just as he was headed out to his car, he got an immense headache and dropped to his knees, clenching his forehead in pain. When the headache subsided, he found that he was no longer out in the parking lot. As a matter of fact, it didn't look like he was near where he lived at all. He was surrounded by gigantic trees and the sound of wildlife. Given the circumstances of his arrival, it wasn't exactly too hard to guess where he was located.

"...I'm in Felarya, aren't I? ...Yep, I am definitely in Felarya." He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, wondering what exactly he was going to do, since he was in a world populated by giant hungry snake-people and the like.

"Well..." he said as he took out his iPod. "I guess I'll look for somewhere to hide, play my music, and let the good times roll." He then began to play 'Stayin' Alive' by the Bee Gees, looking for a place to hide, and praying that he wouldn't be eaten in this voracious world.
