Ultimate character ideas.

I have decided to make a new thread because I am not just going to have one character am I? So any other characters I make/or in the making shall be posted here from now on.

I shall put my Shadow character here anyway:

Name: Shadow
Species: Offworlder human

Height: 5 ft 10 in
Weight: 150bs

Hair color: Black
Eye color: Brown
Other Characteristics: He likes to wear his favourate hoodie with a black jacket over it with his name on the back of his jacket. He wears tracksuit pants and trainers that go with his style. He always keeps his hoodie up so it creates a "shadow" on the upper part of his face. He has a big scar on his fore head by getting involved with a fight with a gang ages ago, therefore the reason he keeps his hoodie up at all times.

Background: Shadow was raised as any other child would, he ate well, he slept well, he studied well. He had very close friends, Until he stumbled into the wrong people who were thugs and they wanted no witnesses of them stealing from a shop. So Shadow was brutally, getting a whack on his fore head with a glass bottle which knocked him out. The next morning he woke up in the hospital with more bad news from the police that came in, that other witnesses around the area had seen the thugs steal most of his items such as his mobile phone, his contact list with all of his relatives phone numbers and his wallet. He turned the T.V on by using the remote by his bed. The news channel was on but the headline of the story was "PARENTS KILLED AS THEIR SON IS IN HOSPITAL" and he got the biggest shock of his life. His parents gone, quickly deciding vengeance he got straight up and sneaked home, getting changed in the clothing which is his hoodie, a jacket to go over it, tracksuit pants and trainers even though he was in a terrible state. He put the hood over his head which created a shadow on the upper part of his face which covered the scar.
Walking down the street with rage he found the thugs but this time there was more of them, this didn't stop him as he enraged on. All the thugs looked at him, the leader thug went over to him and pushed him to the ground. Shadow got back up but with no reaction and he just thought for a second that him killing isn't doing anyone good so he walked away. As he walked through an alley way, he felt him self being sucked back but thinking it's only the wind so, he walked on... Although it was pulling him back more and more till he fell forward, he looked behind him and there was this thing that was pulling him in. Remembering what it was from his studies, it was a riptide! He slid past a dumpster so he held on to it but the dumpster went flying too! Shadow got sucked into it eventually and after Shadow had gone the riptide stopped... Along with no witnesses seeing this. As he opened his eyes, slowly getting up, he found himself in some forest. Not one that he ever had seen or recognized, but he ventured off anyway not knowing that he was in Felarya!


Personality: Shadow was a person who would seem to be depressed all the time, even though he just had something on his mind. A few years ago he was as chatty and as wise cracking as ever but, a day came which changed his personality quite dramatically... He now never speaks to anyone but to himself and has never been social ever since. He is a person of mystery that no one knows much about or where his whereabouts are now. He is very quiet and he has a big attitude towards other people, though he keeps his feelings and emotions inside. Being quiet, he is quite smart and he is quite good at science, despite his looks he could be a teacher of science having knowing lots about biology. He is strong willed and also brave, he is good at hiding the fact that he is actually scared though.


Abilities/Survival Skills: A couple of strange things happened to Shadow after being sucked through the riptide and ending up in Felarya, for one, his stamina is quite unique because, he can walk, run or even sprint for as long as he wants to without the need to stop for a rest. He can't exactly feel how fatigued he is, although this ability can put his life in danger as you see, think of it as an automatic switch. When it is switched off, he can't feel how fatigued or tired he is which can make him run without stopping, but, this "switch" can, at any random time, "switch on" which makes him finally feel his fatigue and tiredness. He can stumble and enter a serious session of pain throughout his entire body. For example, say if he ran for half a day and the "switch," "switched on" then he would feel just how tired he should be for running for that long. He needs to be really careful when he wonders, it wouldn't be exactly good if it "switched on" when being chased by a predator. When it is "switched on" it seems to be "on" for ten minutes before switching off, so if he's lucky, he would just need to survive for ten minutes if he has traveled a long distance.
Another thing which happened to him, is his sense of direction, it... It is just the worse. Being hit with that glass bottle over the head seemed to have damaged his sense of direction tremendously. He could have a legitimate map and still get lost, and the funny thing is, he thinks he is going the right way so if anyone told him he wasn't going the right way, he wouldn't believe them and keep going. So rule number 1) Do not, in any circumstances, ask Shadow for directions, or even ask him to lead you to a nearby village. Chances are he'd lead you to the desert when the closest town is just a small distance away from the right.

Ah I have an idea for a new character. Yet again another offworlder human (male), I thought of a doctor who had Schizophrenia (look it up) and he was an experienced medic who served in the army. He would wear a Wehrmacht Officer uniform with his rank being a Major General. I am still thinking of the rest of his bio such as his personality, I have some ideas of his background info. He is sociopathic and sadistic.

All of those traits are a hindrance to him being in the army. Especially schizophrenia. They'd never let him in.

Also, a Major General Medic?
What does he command, a medical division (If there even is such a thing) or a combat division?
It doesn't make sense. If he's a Major General that excludes him from being a General, since I believe medics are ranked slightly differently to other officers, something similar to technicians if I recall correctly, so they would have no leadership roles.

Well I was thinking that he could of tried to hide that he had schizophrenia and also hide the way he was sadistic and sociopathic so he could get in the army, but then he later got found out that he had these so he got removed from the army. Also what about if I change his rank to Sergeant Major?

Sergeant Major is an appointment/role, not a rank, last time I checked. It's given to existing officers of a certain rank.
Anyway, it's still not really the right type of rank. Medics are not ranked the same way as other soldiers. If he's is or was a medic (as in combat medic), then he's not going to have any leadership roles, because medics don't lead.

I might not have him as a medic then if I can't find a suitible rank for him, I might have him as a normal soldier, finding a rank will be easier for him then.

Name: Light.
Species: Fairy, Storm sprite.
Chrono/Bio Age: It is unknown what the fairy's age is but appears to look around 18-19.
Sex: Female.
Height: When she grows she can grow to 100 feet tall, when she shrinks she can be around only a few inches big. She usually likes to stay 5 foot 7 in.
Weight: It really depends how big she is but as she stays 5 foot 7 in her weight is 137lbs
Skin color: She is a pale/light blue color although since Storm Sprites need to "recharge" once in a while her skin can either go dark or light. When she is "fully charged" and full of energy, she can be a light blue colour but when she's "low on energy" her skin color can darken a little, her hair color follows this too.
Hair color: Dark-ish blue.
Eye color: Green.
Other Characteristics: Light usually does not wear much and only has a single dress which was gave to her by her mother from when she was young. Light's dress is enchanted with lightning so when she uses her electrical abilities, it wouldn't affect her dress. Of course it grows and shrinks with her whenever she changes size.

Background: When she was very young. Light was taken by her mother and was placed inside this enormous temple, it is located deep inside a forest. The temple has all sorts of electronics inside and there was a generator in the middle of temple, located somewhere inside which she used that to recharge and stay healthy. This temple was said to hold various treasures and let lots of people to wonder inside, never to come back out again. She has never seen the outside world of the temple until later on when she finally decided to fly out of there and has never looked back. She was afraid to adventure out at first because she did not know what lied out there and she thought that if she did wonder out, something bad would happen to her. As she was inside the temple for so long she started practicing her abilities and after a lot of training with them she can be a force to be reckoned with. Being in there for quite a while she needed things to pass the time so she found a way to use her electric abilities for creative things, such as shocking the walls to make pictures or designs of her liking. She would find many ways to entertain herself. When ever people would come into the temple she was in she would "play" with them for as long as possible before she got bored and ate them. She also got her education in there by keeping people hostage and making a deal with them, it was simple. They teach her everything they know, they get to go free... That was never the case as once someone was finished teaching her, she would eat them and never kept her side of the bargain. After a while she started to feel sorry for the people she had eaten, she felt emotions but was never taught what they meant and one feeling she felt was guilt. She asked someone she held captive what she was feeling and realized what guilt was. She let that person go and swore and oath to herself, she would never eat anyone sentient ever again. She also has a diary and was taught to write so she keeps that with her.

Personality: Light is very cheerful and sometimes can be mischievous. Although if a situation would come down to seriousness she would act more mature to that situation. Somethings can tick her off and what she can't stand is being called names. She has a habit of talking to herself sometimes since she did that a lot in the temple. She is not really that brave and can be a bit jumpy at times. Although she isn't brave she can be cocky, arrogant and she is proud of who she is, she would brag on how she presumes to be the strongest fairy ever. She has her own self proclaimed title. "The Fastest and Strongest Fairy ever." She will shout that with pride at some points and isn't afraid to show off what she can do. All her moves have to be flashy too. Most of the time, before a fight would start, she would say her title and say that she will kick your ass. She doesn't like to run from a fight whatsoever, she has her own sense of honor and would rather die in battle. Running away from a fight could depress her for a while. She also likes to fight if you haven't figured it out already.

Abilities/Survival Skills: Light's speed when in flight is very fast and has developed a technique which she called "boost" making her increase in acceleration and speed but it uses small amounts of energy for how long she uses it. She can't really run as fast on foot so she sticks to flying most of the time. She can travel across anything where electricity can conduct. She has a ability to do something called flash digestion and can digest whatever prey she had eaten in seconds, but she doesn't use that much. She can turn herself as pure energy and can travel in the walls, or the floor but limits her movements and depends what type of thing the walls/floor are made out of. She can shrink and grow herself from only a few inches big to 100 feet tall. Her electrical attacks and techniques she made herself, are all flashy. She loves to show off, why not make her fighting moves look awesome she figures. She maybe strong but the thing is, she can leave herself wide open at times, her fighting style is nothing but offensive and only relies on her magic abilities. She is weak in terms of psychical strength and she can tire out quickly. She is very reckless with her fighting and because she doesn't like running away, she doesn't dodge much and likes to prove how tough she is by taking things head on. For her, things can go either way in a fight.

How does she get her cloths? Further down in this bio you say that she was taken to a temple at a young age and hasn't left since.

This could use a good deal of fleshing out.
First what area of Felarya is this temple located in?
What kind of electronics are located in the temple (low-tech , modern, futuristic)?
How young exactly was she when she was placed in the temple?
Some more detail could be used into explaining why she's afraid of leaving the temple as well as adding some more pass times for her besides for simply training.

While nothing here seems wrong it could definitely be elaborated upon further, as well as use some touching up in regards to flow.

Well using size changing magic I assume that she could make humans less of a snack and more of a meal by making them larger after hitting the stomach, but I still don't believe any temple in Felarya has nearly enough people visiting them in order to make them a viable food source meaning that she would still have to be able to find a way of getting food and water in order to survive.

When you say incredible speed do mean her flying/foot speed and if so what exactly are you defining as incredible?

I would have to say that depends on what the floor, and walls are made of. Being a storm sprite when the term energy is used in this case I would assume that she would be turning into herself into electricity and this would limit her movement in this form a good deal making it very difficult to move through insulators such as rubber or glass.


All and all this could use some work to make it more interesting, but I didn't see any huge flaws. If you would like some help you can just pm me.

Thanks for that, well I am happy that I have not done any huge flaws like you said. If I need any help I guess I know who to pm. Also the name I agree on lazy but I like it so that is staying the same.

I think I have coverd up what you said could be improved. But still I don't know if things are still wrong with it...

Man, it's been months since I've posted anything in the threads. I don't know, I guess I just didn't really see the point in posting anything but, I think I'll start contributing again. So... Yay. Anyways, I've got a lot of characters to make bios for and also I've got some editing to do on the last couple of bios I have done. I may be doing stories or something for my characters but I've been busy, I have been practicing to draw so I'll be able to show my characters drawn out at a later date. I have some time to post stuff but I'll take my time. This is basically an... Update I guess.

Name: Asuna.
Species: Water Sprite.
Chrono/Bio Age: Unknown.
Sex: Female.
Height: Prefers to be 5ft 8'
Weight: Depends what size she is.
Skin color: Pale green with a little tint of blue.
Hair color: Turquoise.
Eye color: Sky blue colour.
Other Characteristics: She does not wear any clothing whatsoever. Her hair is long too.

Background: Asuna was raised by her parents and had a fun life as a child but, a day came when her parents went out and never returned back home, like they vanished and this made Asuna feel lonely and angry at the same time. Her home is a massive pond in the Fairy Kingdom and she doesn't really like it when people come to drink her home away. The pond is not really connected to any rivers or anything so when it has dried up quite a bit, she goes out of her way to find the nearest place with water, absorb as much as she can and bring it back to refill it. She believes her parents will come back to her one day, so she is trying to defend her home until the day they come back to see her. She also likes to keep it clean every once in a while, she'll absorb all the dirt and dump it somewhere far away, also because of her home looking spotless all the time, it attracts people to drink from it. This is how she can catch her prey, like a trapdoor spider, she'll wait for the right second and then pounce at her prey, then she'll either eat them out or in her pond. She also one day met a Storm Sprite named Light and ever since they met, they have a massive rivalry but also have a great friendship.

Personality: Asuna is a calm fairy, sometimes feeling lazy and not wanting to move but once someone annoys her, it can be hard to get her to calm down. She likes to scare people for fun, going as far as trying to kill whoever it is, but stopping at the last second to see their reaction so she can laugh. She knows that it's mean but she honestly doesn't care, as long as she had fun. She likes to tease at some points too. She doesn't seem to be the nicest fairy on the block, but has a good heart.


Abilities/Survival Skills: Asuna, being a Water Sprite has quite a few diverse skills. One of them is to control and manipulate water to her liking, she is quite good at it but manipulating the water itself is something that can tire her out the quickest so she doesn't use that much. Her skills she usually uses is.. Well, her body. Her body is her weapon as she can turn herself in to water. This can make her create a lot of weapons such as a changing her whole right arm in to a liquefied giant blade which can do solid damage by controlling her water molecules. For short range, her weapons consist of that giant blade mentioned and a whip which can stretch out a good few couple of meters. For long range, she can turn her arms in to liquefied mini guns and she can fire them at a rapid rate, the "water bullets" doing damage from being fired at the speed of real mini gun fire although her aim isn't as always good, she'll also start to shrink from losing water from her body too. By liquefying just her arms, they can stretch like her whip and it can help her to get out of dangerous situations. Now, she make look pretty powerful from being able to do all that but she has her weakness, for one, her wings are not fully developed so she can't fly and also, if a part of her body gets damaged enough, she won't be able to turn that part in to water. She does not have a fast reaction either, which can make her dodging slow.

Name: Trixi.
Species: Giant Elf
Age: 295
Sex: Female
Height: 95ft
Skin color: White.
Hair color: Bright green.
Eye color: Blue.
Other Characteristics: She doesn't wear any clothing and her hair is shoulder length. Her ears are long too.

Background: Trixi was not born as a giant but, she was born from average human sized parents. It was only later on she got a growth spurt and reached her giant height. When she was little, she lived in a Elven settlement, high above in the trees and it was well defended against predators. In that settlement, there were many things such as stalls, homes in the trees and there was even school! Trixi was "home schooled" though, she was also adopted. A day came when a giant Naga spotted the settlement and attacked it by surprise. The Naga was eventually drawn off but there were casualties, Trixi's parents were eaten in front of her. When Trixi was being taught, her new parents were incredibly racist, egoistical and stuck up, being full of themselves. They told Trixi to forget abut her parents, they were weak and gave Elves a bad name for being killed like that and she believed them. She believed everything they said and now at present day, she is tremendously racist, very egoistical and believes she is a high class Elf, her growth spurt increasing those factors by a large amount too. Going back to her past, she started to learn magic. She took a big interest in fire and ice magic, training mostly in those and she trained hard to make sure she was the best Elf spell caster there. She also learned a little of healing magic and a little bit of illusion magic but, she doesn't use her magic much now. She got her growth spurt at the age of 50 and she grew at quite a fast rate, reaching her maximum height at 95. It was then that settlement had a Giant Elf protector and she was highly respected. One day, she decided to leave her home, after seeing many, many other species being what she would call "disgraceful and disrespectful to Elves" she gave herself a mission. Her mission was to go out in to the world and "put and show everyone their place, while also showing who is the most dominant species." She is mostly alone all the time because of her personality, even thinking she's better than other Elves. She despises Elves who get along with the other species and isn't afraid to show them their place either. By show "show them their place" she would eat them! She believes humanoid beings only purpose in life is to get eaten by her and nourish her. She is not afraid to kill and will quickly fight if needed. Also, a human would think that she is a horrible, mean brute. To her, she thinks she is really nice, she believes she is a really good person for what she does and hopes she is making her race proud.


Personality: Trixi, if you haven't guesses already, is a Giant Elf who is completely racist, super egoistical along with having a great pride. She believes she is a good and friendly person but it's hard to see that most of the time. At some points, she has a big appetite and loves to gorge on humanoid settlements she finds. The only time you can see her looking much more happy and cheerful is when she is full. When she's full, she feels lazy and likes to lay down and maybe nap, if you just so happen to meet her while she's full, chances are you would be able to have a chat with her for a while, she would even let you go! Although, she does get bored at some points and will talk to her prey since she is alone most of the time, she might even on a rare occasion let her prey go if they compliment her enough and show that they "know their place" but, like mentioned it's rare. She does not have many friends, or if any at all.

Abilities/Survival Skills: Trixi is a giant, this gives her a lot of strength of course and she also knows fire, ice, healing and illusion magic. Although, she can get tired quickly from using magic so she only uses it as a last resort kind of thing. She is not much of a smart hunter though, she can be easily escaped from if she doesn't spot you and at some points, can be quite clumsy. She can get really embarrassed when someone sees her doing something clumsy but, that embarrassment can quickly turn to anger and that person better run.
