| I dont belive anyone here yet has asked this qustion(sorry if so), but I have recently read a story that involed exo-ship of some-sorts in Felarya and said ship(s) had used something like a tence beam of energy to burn the ground into glass and then said ships left. This story had made me wonder: 1. How can an exo ship of any sort get into felarya? 2. How can said ship(s) start glassing and not get destroyed by the Guardeains? 3. How can said ship(s) get out of Felarya?
Here is the link to the story I'm refurning to: link

It can't. The ONLY way any kind of ship could maybe reach Felarya is if it had some kind of dimensional drive...but why would you put something like that on a ship designed to travel through space? That would be like putting a jet engine on a submarine. Not to mention, putting that kind of system on something as large as a spaceship just seems excessive. You're better off just making a portal generator to send people and small vehicles through. Not all stories are a proper depiction of things that can actually happen in Felarya.

| Then tell that to the guy who wrote the story. Also, if all of that is true, then why did Karbo liked the story??? (This was proably ment for stabs to answer, for he kepts track of all stories that take place in Felarya.) | |

Karbo likes to be nice to people. As long as the story isn't doing something horribly offensive, he will at least try to leave a positive comment. He believes that people have the right to write what they want about Felarya, even if it isn't really correct as far as the canon goes. He doesn't like to step on people's toes by saying "This story isn't right".

| I have split the posts concerning luke112's character Mac into this thread, because they are related specifically to his character, and don't fit in a general Q and A thread. | |

While they seem to have been changed some since they were first created, you ought to be able to find more information in this thread.

| From that thread I got:
"In fairies however, the effect is a bit different, it puts them into a deep sleep, possibly a coma that can last days, and acts fairly fast."
The description seems to state nothing about the effects that those fairies seem to exhibit in the picture on this page:

How dare you mock the awesomeness that is JetSub!Joking aside, having Extra Dimensional Mobility on a starship makes more sense then you might think, especially if it relies on an FTL system that uses some sort of extra dimension to begin with and certainly if it is an Interstellar Warship. Really, the ability to pop into another reality could be extremely useful for space combat, allowing one to simply appear amongst the enemy fleet and disappear at will. Still, it begs the question: Why in the FRACK were they glassing Felarya?

| Hmm, not sure if it has been asked yet... but I've not seen it in the wiki, so; - How is the entry to the city of Negav controled? (I asume that it's not a city that you can enter and exit like any other one) *From the point of view of a newcomer. *From the point of view of an "habitual" resident or adventurer (if there is difference)
Then; -What are the conditions to become a resident?

Then; -What are the conditions to become a resident? For a humanoid, I don't think its that complex. Negav does have gates like any other city. True, there might be magical scans to look out for potentially super-dangerous people, but besides that I think its sort of go in and out as you please - that's most conducive to attracting merchants and potential customers. The difference is for non-humanoids - in Felarya, generally this refers to small tauric species. There is more suspicion and control there, the exact details of which haven't been worked out. As for being a resident, the only condition is being a humanoid, and having enough money to pay the assumably horrendous rent rates. I figure due to overcrowding the Police regularly sweep the streets to eject the homeless - so if you don't have an address you better pay for an inn or be forced to sleep in the Pit, or outside the walls.

| About the Oosoon berries, I admit had gone through a few ideas for what they did, they were meant of RP purposes. In the end they just got magical creatures, such as fairies, drunk. | |

| Phantom Elves live in Sunfall Thicket, which is in perpetual night time. I am wondering, do they have superior vision than humans in the darkness, and are they sensitive to daylight? | |

There are also the Crimson Maidens, but that's about it for organised predators.

I would think so if they are not used to light... No organisation has it's strenght's and it's weaknesses. + More difficult to eradicate them(lady lesone anyone) + Less conflicts between predators - When a threat against all of Felarya appears then they wouldn't be able to work together(I know you have the guardians but they might not srong enough or they simply don't care) - Less social stuff

| Sean Okotami I would have to say that it they would have to have superior vision to humans. But the question would be how their vision works as to weather their eyes would be sensitive to daylight. If their vision is based on characteristics like that of a cat their pupils dilate to large sizes and have a reflective disk at the back of their eye to reflect light back onto the light sensing part of the eye. With this type of eye they would be sensitive to changes in light leaving them almost blind in daylight; unless it acted like a cats eye in having two shutter like muscles allowing for a greater degree of pupil size control; but this would also give them the slitted eye appearance like that of a cat. If their vision however isn't in the visible light spectrum and they saw heat as apposed to light they would be largely unaffected by changes in light but coldblooded creatures would be difficult to spot especial if they remained stationary for an extended period of time. Finally their is the third option and that is that their sight is magical in nature and needs further clarification on how things such as light affect it.
Well I have several questions about the a single topic Genies (aka Djinn): 1) What is the nature of their weight is it variable or is it quite literally zero. 2) Wishes how many. I know in most stories Genies can only grant three wishes but on the Legends page it says they tend to carry more than that. So how many more? 3)And finally, what are the limitations of the affects these wises may have? I'm assuming that if you were to attempt to wish Felarya (or any other world ) out of existence the Genie would simply look at you and say, "Tough luck try again," but what are Genie wishes capable of?

| I highly doubt a Phantom Elf's vision is anything related to science. Given that they are no reports of being sighted outside of Sunfall Thicket, it's pretty safe to assume that their eyesight isn't all that well adapted to daylight, since they never in contact with it. Also, by superior vision, I meant if they could see in absence of light (magic and all, since they're elves), or if they need some kind of light source, even a dim one. I personally prefer being able to see in total darkness naturally. | |

| If we are going to insert science in this then we can pretty much quit asking.(if you insert magic in the energy sum then most laws of psyshics would be incorrect)
As for the Genies(or djinns of you have played HOMM 5) 1. If they are made of the same material as ghosts or spirits are made off then their weight is zero(I think) 2. I personally think that that depends on the power of the genie(some are more powerful then others) I think most genies have a certain base power so three is probably the most commom amount 3. Again that depends on the power of the genie. Although I doubt that there are a lot of genies that can wish a world out of nowhere.
I have a question BTW. How was Felarya formed? Or isn't that thought out yet?

| Well if you have read the wiki article then you would know it says that they have a massless nature, but this seems off to me as that would mean that they wouldn't be able to physically interact with other objects. Such as applying a force onto another as force=mass*acceleration.
The legend states that the three wishes is just a common misconception and that they tend to carry more on them than that. My question is on how many more.
Finally I am looking for an appropriate base line for the power of a wish for an average Djinn.
As how to Felarya was formed or when link no one knows.
