That's a good one Kyle. Is that band's other music like that too?

All their other songs are pretty similar in style, and they're all instrumental. Songs most like "Flowers Are Dead" would probably be "Hollow," "Oso De Tigre," and "Eastern."

'Another planet' by the Japanese artist Kawada Mami is quite soothing in my opinion
This alternate "twilight version" has the same lyrics, however some instruments are different and it has been mixed very differently. I stil

English Translation:
The smiling half moon and the stars that laugh together quietly envelop us. Only gently, softly, the night wind that blows through Sweeps away our hearts.
I look up, and before me is a dazzling radiance. When I felt it, I would run off to that hill. For the present, it seemed my hand would reach that star - for some reason, I felt like that.
The first star to appear whispered, “Let’s go play!” and invited me. It glittered like the smile you always show me.
Far away… further away… I swim through the night sky with you. Far away… together, far away, we connect in the morning that we approach.
The remembered picture that spread out before my eyes was like the color that I gazed at that time. But the most important thing is lacking - my present is different from that day.
The faint moonlight that shone through the window Was reflected onto your face; I looked on in fascination. Don’t change; smile.
Far away… so far away… I wander the night sky alone. Far away… to where you are, I go in search of that day’s dream.
Far away… far away… I swim through the night sky with you. Far away… to where you are, I go in search of that day’s dream.
Far away… far away… far away… to where you are…
There is also this wonderful piece by DJ Dain. It is a remix of a 43 second long track 'Triage at dawn,' that is part of the Half Life 2 soundtrack. DJ Dain managed to turn 43 seconds into 6 minutes of great, non-repetitive music. I don't really consider it a remix. Due to how much of it is changed I'd say that it is based off Triage at Dawn rather than a remix of it.
Enjoy

I don't know what this would have to do with Felarya, but it's an awesome track and I love it. It's Keiji Maeda's theme! XD

I've got a freaking crazy metal band here. Finntroll is a finnish black metal band whose music is about one thing and one thing only: mythological trolls wrecking havoc on Christians. I'm dead serious. This is a real band, and it's as ridiculous as it sounds. And it's kick ass. Listen to these:

You could call them either, really; both genres are very prevalent in their music. I could very well go to another forum on another website to talk about them right now and refer to them as folk metal despite referring to them as black metal here. They're kind of a hybrid of the two, I find (with parts of other genres mixed in, depending on the album). So yes, I do agree that they're folk metal, even though I won't always call them as such.
And now for something completely different.

This is the Frozen Synapse Original Soundtrack, 11 beautiful pieces of instrumental music by nervous_testpilot. I find that these tracks are really good to listen to when I'm working on something. I especially like 'A Functioning God' and Schism.

One Piece Grand Adventure - Maxim (Going the Great Skies)
Listening to music is how I get story ideas and it generally helps motivate me to write/draw. This one's pushing me to create an enormous, flying ark of some kind, risen from the ancient depths of the Felaryan Sea, commanded by a captain long since deceased as he begins his journey anew across the wildlands by air.

I know this seems wierd, but I'm gonna post these here because I'm a real nut for old school music (it might have something to do with the fact that I was raised by my grandparents).
I need to get dialed into the story that I've decided to resume writing and it really helps me to listen to classics that are so calm, yet emotionally powerful, to counter the ultra-violent mood I'm going to be in at the climax of the story.
I just hope they play properly.

I love me some Kate Rusby. Such a beautiful character-filled voice.
Just in case that submission makes me seem like I'm trying to come across as cultured and deep, here an orchestral version of an anime OP to balance things out.
Cheers
