Cult of Minalca


Since Malahite just brought it up I went to read on it and noticed some typos on the entirety of the page. This one was pretty outright though, since its a hyperlink and therefore colored:

The Cult of Minalca is known to have good relations with Tombhumbs, whose sight is often considered as a good luck sign among humans. Members of the cult are encouraged to help these little beings whenever needed. The cult is based in the Sanctum of the Shining Star in Negav.

The Negav Police has inconsistent acronyms. One time it's MSD, then it's IMSD (which should be the complete acronym), then ISD. Also... was ordered to dispand by the Magiocrats

For the richs

With the current lack of a city wide police force dedicated to dealing with common and local crime it is not uncommon to find the more affluent neignbourhoods pratrolled by these private security personnel.

Private Security and Mercenary Groups: I'm not an expert, but I think it's "For the rich"

There should be a comma between "local crime" and "it is not uncommon."

Also, it should be "neighborhoods"

On the Fauna page:

Just a note on the Internal Security Division and the Metropolitan Security Division. The MSD was under the command of the ISD which is part of the Investigators. The MSD was dispanded and reorganised into the Negav police while the ISD is still around.

Well it could be more clear.

When I see "ISD" the first think I think about is star wars. (Imperial Star Destroyers)

I don't have a problem with Internal Security Division, but I'm a little hesitant to use a name that will reflect upon such a big sci-fi name.

very unlikely. then Kensha Hussars set up a subsidiary bureau there. The best probable cause would be that mercenaries that were down on their luck got hired by some employers who really hated them.

which is why i previously stated it was a conflict between other mercs.

Not sure if this is intentional, but I noticed that Goro and Teron are under 'Other' on the Character Navigation box. Treants are filed under Elementals, so wouldn't the Nav reflect that? ^^;

No, "actors" works here; its a slightly less formal way to say "There are many plots, counter plots, and maneuvers taking place behind the stage though, among the political actors and political forces of that huge, dangerous city."

It would probably be best to rewrite the entire sentence though; any suggestions?

Maybe using the phrase "acts of deceit?" That might be a better way of putting "actors".

Yeah I guess you're right about 'actor' working, though it throws me off a bit.

In the rather newly written article on the character Swiftlit ( Here ) it's written that he's 5' 20''. I thought it was a rather cute little typo ^^; 12 inches is a foot, so what's written here would be 6' 8'', which is VERY large for any boy of 14, even if he's American/European.

I believe it's either supposed to be 5' 2'', or maybe the 20'' is supposed to be transcribed as centimeters? Either way, the current written height needs to be changed.
