Copyneko nods eagerly in response, staying into the hug for a few more seconds before letting go slowly and smiling. She would then turn to look at the painting again, still amazed and charmed by its beauty, almost as if the one reflected in it wasn't her.

"That's great! Beryl's glad to hear-- er, uh-- see that," Beryl said. After Copyneko let go, she did as well, then turned to the painting. "Now...what agreement did we have? That Beryl would keep this painting private? Or did Beryl's subject say she wanted to take it?"

She giggles a bit at Beryl's stuttering, Copyneko finding funny that she had to make that distinction clear. She then listens to the Naga's next question, not turning around as she is still contemplating the painting.

<<We agreed you should keep this private but... With how masterful it is, it'd be a shame...>> Beryl might notice her blushing a bit as she writes the next part. <<I want you to keep it, but you can show it around if you see fit. I don't mind, your work makes even a flawed body like mine look beautiful.>> She would say before turning around once again and looking at Beryl.

Beryl smiled when she read that she'd be able to show it off, but her mood soured when she read the rest of the text. When Copyneko turned around, she'd be greeted with the sight of Beryl's furrowed brow and pouted lips.

"That's not what my art is!!" she exclaimed, throwing her fists down at her sides and untintentionally hitting her bag, elliciting several 'clinks' of glass from it. "The portrait doesn't make you look any more beautiful that the you standing in front of me." She gestured emphatically to Copyneko. "This beauty is all yours! It comes from within you!" She poked Copyneko's chest with force. "YOU brought sexy back, not ME!"

As she sees Beryl's expression, she immediately notices she's taken her words the wrong way. She lets out a sigh, having been so happy just a moment ago, it had to be ruined by something irrelevant they had just talked about barely ten minutes before. But she wasn't prepared for the Naga's approach.

"The portrait doesn't make you look any more beautiful that the you standing in front of me.", she repeats, her body going slightly tense, in knowledge that it wasn't the last slip on the Beryl's part. "This beauty is all yours! It comes from within you!", she repeats as well, her body becoming influenced by the Naga and following her same actions. She pokes Beryl's chest just as strongly as she pokes Copyneko's, the imitation not being a mirror, but using the same limbs and movements the Naga did. "YOU brought sexy back, not ME!", she concludes as the female does as well (in case she continues), and just stands there blankly in the same pose as Beryl, though is she was observant enough, the Demi appeared to have a slightly different expression than hers, as if she resigned to her fate.

Beryl didn't register Copy's copying while she was ranting, but as soon as she stopped, her eyes went wide and she covered her mouth with her hands. She briefly separated them to squeak out a high-pitched "Sorry!"

Copyneko would continue coping her, not only in movements and words, but also her tones and expressions. If Beryl paid close attention, though, she would be able to feel a slight difference, as if Copyneko was altering the imitations slightly in order to convey her mood or intention. Beryl would get the impression that the Demi shakes her head slightly and smiles the tiniest bit, as if not blaming her.

(If the Naga manages to not address her again, the influence would be gone in more or less four minutes.)

Beryl did take notice, her observant artists' eyes aiding her well in reading Copy's body language. She slowly lowered her hands from her mouth, and watched as Copyneko did the same. She leans to one side, and then to the other, watching as again her movements are mimicked. Her expression suddenly shifts to half-lidded eyes and a sly smile as thoughts go through her head of in what ways she could take advantage of this, specifically perverted ways. But after a few moments, she gives her head a shake and exhales powerfully, doing her best to push those thoughts from her mind.

As Beryl tests Copyneko's mimicking, she would understand that it wasn't just imitation, the Demi would be able to reproduce her movements perfectly and at exactly the same time, not too short of reading her mind. The movements are also made with the same limb and at the same direction as the Naga's. If she were to move to her right, Copyneko would also move to her right, effectively moving in the same direction but opposite ways. This would also make Copyneko a sort of interactive puppet instead of a mirror; if Beryl were to touch the Demi's nose, their fingers won't meet halfway through the movement, but Copyneko would be able to touch Beryl's nose as well.

Copyneko notices the change of Beryl's expression, mimicking it as well, but also tilting her head a little, as if wondering what was the Naga thinking. She then shakes her head and exhales in imitation, just as her.

"Wait...Hold on a minute," Beryl said, a wide grin spreading across her face. She then reared her left hand back, then swung it up and across, swatting at the air up and between herself and Copyneko. If her positioning was correct, her hand should make contact with Copy's right in the middle of the arc, she thought, and create the perfect high-five!

"Wait... Hold on a minute." She imitates, grinning and copying each of Beryl's movements and high-fiving with her just right. With that, the Naga would probably have a decent idea of how her imitation works and what movements to take into account.

Beryl smiled wide and gestured victoriously with her fist, raising it and bringing it down while bending her elbow. She made sure to keep quiet, though, because being imitated vocally was starting to get on her nerves.

The naga looked to her friend as she thought about what else they could do, when she got an idea. With a smug smirk, she brought the tip of her long tail around herself multiple times, wrapping her torso up with herself. She was confident Copy wouldn't be able to imitate this properly, and maybe it'd turn her back to normal!

Copyneko looks as if she's at ease as she imitates Beryl, used to people trying to test her limits. After the victory gesture, she would start coiling her own Neko tail around herself, making it go around and around as the Naga does so, probably making Beryl wonder if her tail was actually that long. No matter, though, she would keep up with her, apparently.

In the end, Beryl would look like a girl with her head poking out of a stack of tires, her entire body up to her neck surrounded by her thick, long tail. Copyneko might be able to imitate the length, but could she imitate the thickness?

Copyneko would only continue imitating the coiling, Beryl quickly noticing that the Demi wasn't even attempting to imitate the thickness. She had only copied the Naga's movements for the time being, so it was reasonable to believe that was the only thing affected by her affliction.

Beryl uncoiled herself and gave Copy a pensive look, watching as she doubtlessly copied her actions. She was curious what the chimera's legs would be doing, since Copy had copied her tail's movements with her own tail, and now Beryl was using her tail to stand.

Copyneko's legs hadn't moved during all the coiling process, keeping her standing posture, just as Beryl hadn't stopped standing up while coiling around herself. Just then, Copyneko's body would shiver a bit, shaking free of its imitating stiffness, the Demi letting out a sigh. She looks at Beryl in the eye as she writes something between them. <<Okay, now you know. How about we avoid another instance of that in the future?>> She asks so, definitely looking serious about it.

Beryl read the words in the air before her carefully, then directed a smile to Copyneko, relieved to see she was back to normal. The naga then grabbed one of the paint jars on her easel, yellow, as well as one of her hand-held paint brushes. She dipped the brush in the paint, then lifted it up to the air between herself and Copy and began paining words in the air, much like Copyneko's letters.

"I agree. That was super-uncomfortable for both of us, but really you more than me. I'm really sorry, I just got all flustered and forgot that I wasn't supposed to say the "U"-word."

Beryl stopped and blinked, then reaced up with her hand and wiped away the word "you" from "really you more than me", leaving the side of her palm dripping with yellow paint.

"Oh, good to hear!" Beryl said aloud while guiding the jar of yellow paint through the suspended text, returning it to whence it came. Afterwards, she dipped her brush and began painting more words in the air.

<<Anyway, if you'll excuse me, it's super late, and I'm bushed.>>

Beryl once more returned the paint to the jar from which it originated, then put the jar back in her bag and, after shoving the bristles in her mouth and cleaning the fruit juice-based paint off, did the same with her brush. She then slithered back over to the campfire and coiled around it a few times, creating a nice, circular cushion for her to lie her torso on as the fire warmed her. She was sure to leave space between her and the fire in case Copy wanted to get close to it, and to make sure she didn't get burned. In the process, she completely forgot to put away her painting of Copyneko, her easel, and the rest of the jars of paint sitting on the easel's sill.

Copyneko would smile in response to the Naga's kind words, and observe her pack up with curiosity for a few seconds before noticing she had completely forgotten about the painting. She would spend a few more moments gazing at it, following the fickle lines of her own body in Beryl's eyes. She felt a strange mix of emotions, having been painted, being seen naked, meeting such a talented artist... things had taken a strange turn for sure, so much she wasn't even sure about how she felt.

After a minute or so, she returned to the fireplace, beside the Naga. She slowly starts dressing herself again, enjoying the warmth of the fire in her skin and scales as she does so. She would write a few words just below the fire for Beryl to read but in a way they weren't too intrusive. <<Are you going to sleep here, next to the fire? I wouldn't recommend it, predators have learned to look for fireplaces in order to find easy meals. I have stored my things not too far away, but the place is more hidden, and it would help us if it decides to rain.>> She says, clearly offering the Naga to come along with her. <<Also, you may want to pack up your painting, too...>>

"But I don' waaannaaaa..." Beryl groaned, forcing herself upright groggily. She'd wanted to just enjoy the warmth of the fire while she dozed off, but Copyneko was right - doing so would be dangerous. She took a determined breath, reminding herself that the faster she got it over with, the faster she could get to sleep, and the faster she could resume her quest in the morning. She began moving swiftly, her body gliding over the ground as she circled back around to her easel, her arms becoming a blur as she dexterously lidded her paint jars and put them in her bag, tore the painting from the art book sitting on the easel, rolled it up and packed it away, then began folding the easel back up with clicks and clacks of wood sounding out as she did so. Soon enough, she slid the easel back into her bag, closed the flap over it, and slithered back over to Copyneko. She attempted to lift the girl off the ground, and carry her with one arm under her legs and the other under her back.

Copyneko observed her handiwork, which was truly great for a half-asleep Naga. It was clear Beryl was used to doing it often, and still so impressive that she couldn't help but watch it from start to end, without even noticing the Naga coming towards her after finishing. The Naga would be able to lift her in her arms pretty easily, her light frame certainly contributing. Copyneko would let out a small sound of surprise, but wouldn't say or write anything, a faint blush coming to her face.

Beryl, with Copyneko in her arms, began to slither away from the fire, heading south. She then stopped, and headed back toward the fire, then turned and headed north-west. She then stopped again.

"Uuuuhm..." she said tiredly, before blinking her eyes several times and swallowing saliva. "...Where to?"

Copyneko would giggle amusedly for a second, before placing a bright ruby arrow in front of them, visible even with the impending darkness. With a few more, she would guide the Naga to the space between the fallen trunk and the branches that had her real bedroll and the rest of her gear.

She looked then at the Naga and thought of how she had wanted to doze off in the warmth of the fire, so she decided to give her a small gift in thanks. She gathered her magical energy and focused on one point in the middle of the hidden camp and quickly worked on an initial version of a fire phantasm. It was the first time she attempted something like this, and wasn't displeased with the result. Flames erupted directly from the floor, giving off a coy white light and a gentle warmth. Perhaps less than a real fire would, but they were forced to be quite closer to this one, so it was fine.
