Felarya rumors

Children born in Felarya always have nice hair.

*Some say that Anko went through a dimensional portal, and payed a visit to Amity Island in 1977...(Heh, Jaws reference)

*Anko's breasts are rumored to be bigger than Vivian's, but the same guy who said that also said that John Kerry would beat Bush.

*Mennysan will spare your life if you can beat her in chess-and throw in a golden fiddle.

And this rumor is the biggest one:

*People in taverns tell a lot of fake stories to get free ale.

The movie Anaconda was actually based on Crisis. The movie was horribly inaccurate however because the only survivor had the sanity of a peanut.

I just did some more research on a strange new type of creature. Already rumors have come about among my colleagues.

Accordingly, the "AeroWeed" (see flora and fauna section) is closely related to a genus of pods that grow on trees and feed on humans. Their numbers are rising rapidly and appea to have few natural enemies (except other airborne predators, creatures immune to type 1 acid and other species of plants)

However, there was also a rare sighting of a unique AeroWeed, shaped in the image of a human....

She's my friend but I know Nothing about her personal life. I only ever see her down at the store which is where we chat - I've never visited her house.

It is said that in the evernight forest there is a strange type of fairies which is a cross between fairies and dark elementasl, it is unknown how many of them there are because very few explorers have ever survived an encounter with one.

Recently, some Neko villages have come together under the rule of a new chieftain, who some people are calling a "metal overlord" due to the subject's robotic appearence. They say that this overlord has given these said villages technology that "is not common to the Neko people or Felarya". Because of the influence of this overlord, these particular Nekos are very aggresive towards other beings in Felarya, including humans, and their new "fighting machines", which bear the appearence of large tripods, are very well armored and threatening in numbers. The primary weapons on these machines consist of a beam of energy which incinerates anything it touches. People and Felaryan predators have dubbed this weapon the "heat ray". It is also said that these Nekos will sometimes capture any beings they can find and display them in public executions set in an arena before their new master and his associates. Apparently, this new empire is slowly but surely spreading across Felarya and encompassing more Neko villages, and a fair few human settlements, as it grows. Many spies died to gather this information.

There are reports of a large fortress situated in the Ascarlin Mountains. This base is metallic in appearence and is being patrolled by what appear to be robots of some sort. Very little is known about this base, but some witnesses believe it to be the property of a human who is described as "bald and overweight, with a long, orange moustache".

Several human settlements have reported sightings of a strange man, with long blonde hair and skin as pale as moonlight. A certain settlement has deemed this man hostile due to an incident where this man forcefully prevented a hunting party from finishing off a giant Naga that had been caught in a trap. Witnesses to that event say that the man has uncanny strength and speed and some speculate that he may not be human at all.

And, on the fun side,
There have been several sightings of little white rabbits going crazy and causing trouble in several parts of Felarya. These "Rabbids" are known to be cute and cuddly in appearence but very mischievious at heart. They are also known to carry blunt objects with them, plungers being the most common. If they feel threatened, they will let out a loud scream and normally attack. They can be a mere nuisence individually, but threatening in numbers, even to the giant predators of Felarya. Some say that the Rabbids have an ear for music and like to dance.^^(This is not foreshadowing another fanfic. I just wanted to feature the Rabbids in a comment.)

They say a yellow-eyed demon inhabits the subtopic regions of Deeper Felarya. They say he's a tall figure with blaring, yellow and red eyes with inhuman strength and brandishes a large, jet black scythe. It's been said that it has the form of a man, but hunts like a Kensha beast.

They say, few are the humans and predators that seen 'im that er' returned alive to tell the tale. I heard that those that fall victim to his scythe, are drained of their blood.

Sweet! and hmmm I got one, a week ago a group of explorers said they found what appeared to be a large hive of a strange giant hybrd half hornet and half woman, out of the 20explorers only 3 made it out alive.

Rumor has it that a neko girl has been wandering Felarya lately, walking over the flora and fauna with relative ease. Recently, she came across a neko village that took her in and cared for her.

She claims to be looking for her lover who got lost in this world. She doesn't seem too worried, though....

Then there are the odd rumblings at night. Creatures all across Felarya seem to hear it as trees and other flora are brought down night after night. Several nagas report it being the work of a metal giant. However, when said giant ran across a native creature (a hydra, Dryder, naga, etc.) it merely stood there, looking at the creature... soon it would turn tail and proceed out of sight.

What is this metal giant doing, and why?
