Felarya rumors

There are rumors of perverse experiments being done in the depths of the most remote portions of Felarya's jungles. Organ replacing, limb grafting, mind transplants, torture in general, you name it. The origin of this rumor was made by a human male who 'claimed' to have been a Female Naga as of a month prior. Of course, the town regarded the man as insane and 'he' has never been seen since.

Adventurer one- "I've seen a woman in an orange jumpsuit and strange footwear wandering the jungle north of the Great Tree."
Adventurer two- "Aye! I've seen her too, bout a week ago. Carrying a great white gun she was. I was ta call out to her, but Crisis appeared and gulped her down so I high tailed it before I became dessert."
Adventurer three- "Impossible! I saw the same woman just yesterday, fine and dandy."
Adventurer one- "I think she was carrying a sheet of metal as well, though I couldn't be sure. Wonder why."

"I heard it on good authority that there's a new group of humans trying to make a living here in Felarya. But get this, their trying to make large artificial machines designed to look like various predators. They think hiding in big metal mockaries will be enough to fool anyone."
This notion is met with much laughter.
"Pipe down, pipe down. I've got a good one. Did ya'll know that if ya sock a fairy right in the gut, it won't be able to grow any bigger. Caught my fair share of the little buggers that way."
Mixed reactions, one man calls out, "Dave, you liar. You've never caught anything more than a cold. And on Felarya that's sayin' something." The bar roars with laughter again.
"You all ever heard of the great Jon Billings aye?"
The men all cheer to confirm.
"Well I heard that he's back in Felarya again. Spotted near the Great Tree, probably here to slay all those nagas. round those parts. Wouldn't surprise me."
The men all cheer again.
"Nah nah, I've heard he's here to finish what he started ten years ago. He's gonna map all of Felarya. If anyone can do it, Billings can."
Another rousing cheer. One drunk raises his head from the bar long enough to say,
" Heard there's a narrow path that crosses the whole eastern ocean... Still underwater, but just high enough to walk on... Some magic protects the path, so if you can navigate the whole thing without falling off, tis the safest way to cross."
The room is quiet for a moment, and a local speaks up "How would you know? You've never left this city ya drunkard." But the drunk had already dozed back off. Conversation resumes.
"You know how one in ever hundred people born in Felarya is a mage?"
"Something to do with the high magic here yah?"
"That's right. But listen to this. For every thousand mages born, there's a human born that is completely unaffectable by magic. Fireballs just splash off, ice melts like butter, lightning swerves into the ground."
"Amazing!"
"Aye, but it ain't all roses for them. Think, if ye ain't affected by magic, how yah gunna get healed? Felarya's soil won't have no effect. No immortality, no eternal youth. I'd say the flaws are greater."
"Ah! I've heard of the freaks. Called Resistants or Blanks aye? I heard they can't be detected by anything other than normal senses. I also heard most of them are mute. Glad I ain't one."
"I heard there's a group of Nekos to the east that are master musicians. They say Eddie Holly was born there."
"Who's Eddie Holly?"
"You don't know Eddie Holly? He's the best guitarist I've ever seen, of any race. Course he's got an ego bigger than a levithan mermaid. Only going on what I heard, but I've also heard he was ble to woo a fairy, and got a son out of it."
"That's old news. Though I heard the mom was an elf."
"Yar, but the boy's bound to surpass even his father someday."
"But you've never heard Eddie play. No one'll ever be better than him. I heard he once played so well, we was able to charm the wings off a fairy. Probably the same one he bedded."
"I told you it was an elf!"
The argument quickly excalates into a brawl. That's the end of the rumors for tonight. Just another typical night at the Lit Ciggy Bar and Brothel in Negav City.

Some little girl with pink hair who runs a shop in Ur-Sagol has been spreading rumors about the demon Terror. The rumors state that Terror has a crush on some creature called Cthulhu. As to whether or not this is true, well, you'd have to ask Terror and I wouldn't recommend doing that.

Another rumor says that not to long ago a pink hair vampire was found hanging upside down 50ft up in a tree by her underwear, no ones sure who did it but they're sure whoever did was PISSED.

And I thought it would be worse. XD

Recently, a large group of humans staged a peaceful demonstration by the Giant Tree protesting Crisis's eating of humans. When asked for
comment, Crisis had this to say:

Crisis: "*Burp*"

...And then she ate the interviewer.

I heard that a group of people with came into Felarya recently. They somehow built a massive city in seconds, and it's said that they have technology and weapons that noone has seen or heard of before, and almost all predators run away when they see one.

"No really! It really worked! It's the safest way across! Bill lost a bet right, to his ex of all people. She's a right horrible wench. She had him walk through Miragia forest and back. And if that wasn't enough, she had him covered in feathers. Looked nothing so much like an overgrown chicken! Anyway, so he did it. You know how Bill's a man of his word. So he goes off into Miragia, and it was the last we all expected to see poor Bill. So weren't we surprised to see him again a few days later. He told us that he surprisingly met very few predators. Said it cause of the feathers all over him. Said it made him look like a little harpy or something. Didn't see a single predator the whole time. So now Bill says the safest way to cross that Miragia Forest is in a bird suit."
"Bill must be lying. No way he could have gone so long without seeing a pred. They're everywhere! What about that new naga up that way? I suppose he didn't see her?"
"Neither scale nor hair"
"Bill must've doubled back. No way a huge naga could be scared of a little feathery man. Nagas ain't scared of nuthin, least of all birdies."
"Mmmh... Maybe."
Both men take a deep draft and topics turn to comments about the new barmaid not worth mentioning here.

Until their technology mysteriously was affected by the Felarya environment and doesn't work anymore. In the end they end in the stomach of the local fauna

The Delurians bypassed it very well, as did those people with the power suits, and many other races have accomplished the feat as well. Or have you forgotten when Anna got a TV to work?

Without electricity, and despite her size, with insane accuracy. Sean's brother would nag her forever if he found out, he's a machine addict. Delurans not so well, their steel rust insanely fast and most have died thanks to Crisis and one by me.

It's not because it never happen before it can't happen
It's the concept of probabilities my friend

Contrary of what you think Anna has a great knowledges about machines and her new condition allow her more possibility than when she was a human.

For the electricity due to the fact her element is lightning she can generate electricity by friction and with her size she doesn't have problem to generate enough static electricity.

Technology is whole of physics laws, theories and experiments to exploit these laws so even if you use the most advance technology can't do nothing against the law physics and natural because it applies them nothing more

"If your about to be eaten by a bat harpy, a loud high pitched noise will disorient them enough to escape. I've heard it works on some other predators with sensitive hearing too."
"Oh yeah? Well you know what to do when you're trapped in a slug girl's slime?"
"What?"
"Salt! A good dousing of salt will get you free! In fact I know many adventurer's don't go out into slug girl territory without a covering themselves in the stuff. Slug girl's won't touch you!"
"Yeah, but I heard that there's quite a few other preds that love the taste of a salted human. Several kinds of centaurs and some sphinxes too."
"It's true! Salting yourself will keep the slug girls away, but will definately attract the nearest deerataur. I'd tell you to ask ol' Jeb, but last I saw him, he was sliding down a deerataur's throat!"
"Ha ha ha! In Felarya, even when you win you lose!"
"Real classy Grid. Why don't you take a leap off Anko Bridge?"
"Yeah well, why don't you take a long slide down a short throat?"

The conversation quickly degenerates from there. No more useful rumors tonight.

"Okay Grid, what do you have to say?"
"... Sorry I bad mouthed Jeb."
"Aaaand?"
"And that I said your mother was a naga"

"But I have one question, why does salt free you from slug girls?"
"What do I look like? A scientist? It just does."

"I'm not that drunk!" He totters a bit, "The reason salt frees you is that it neutralizes the slime, and makes it less sticky, and more watery. Slug girls dislike it for the same reason, though there's probably a few odd balls that like the taste, but I've never seen one."
"That's cause you've never left the city. You've never seen a pred outside a textbook."
"Hey! If salt frees you from the slime, than wouldn't a really sweaty person not be affected? Sweat is salty right?"
"That's a good point. But y'see, Despite how it looks, the slime is actually cool to the touch, and quite refreshing, if you can stand the, well, slimy texture. Because it's so cool, the body doesn't feel the need to sweat. In fact, I heard that slug girl slime is used in several types off beauty products and deodorants!"
All the men blanch at the thought, and questions kind of die out after that.
