Enter Trixy: The curious naga

Masurao was now strong enough to stand up right. "I've never seen zombies before...That was way too creepy."

Ha'dara smiled slightly "I guess we have something in common then, I've never seen one before either."

Mike got up with his hand on his head. His eyes were blood red and his K-9s were pointed. Luna also got up and looked at her dad. Her eyes went wide when she saw him. "DAD!!!! NO!!!!" She cried. He looked up and saw the fear in her eyes and then looked at his right arm and said, "AH! SHIT!!!!"

Kuroda perked up from hearing the yells of both Luna and Mike. He quickly drew his sword and with great urgency said, "What? What is wrong??"

It was moments like this that he wished he could see. With most situations his ears could give him as much, and sometimes more, information than his eyes ever could. But, in a foreign occurrence such as this, eyesight would've been most useful.

Luna looked up and saw a red moon. "RED MOON!!!!" she cried. Mike cried as he clutched his back. Two wings came out of his back: one dragon wing and one angle wing, both black with red streaks.

“By the guardians, what be happening to yeh?” Trav asked in a halting voice, staring at Mike. It couldn’t be anything good, given Luna’s reaction. Hurriedly, Trav glanced around, looking for a possible refuge should matters become worse. Still recovering from the sudden appearance of the walking dead, Trav’s courage was already quite brittle and thin.

Ha'dara just stared at Mike, more confused than worried. He looked over at Luna "What's going on now?"

Masurao cursed in Japanese. "I've got to restrain him...But how?" He tried desperately to remember a sealing jutsu, but he knew none.

"Dad come down," she said. Mike screeched at her and flew into the air, sending dirt flying everywhere. His eyes shown in the dark as he looked down at Luna.

Masurao glared up at Mike, activating his Mangekyou Sharingan.

Trav’s frail courage snapped upon hearing Gold’s inhuman screech. He turned and fled as fast as his legs would carry him. Unconsciously, he fled from Gold as he would a harpy or other flying predator, dodging around trees and under cover, looking for a hole or ditch to hide in. He spotted a nearby tunnel leading into the ground and dove in without a second thought.

Inside the tunnel, Trav sat and tried to catch his panting breath. The light was dim in the tunnel, but he could see he had brought his sword and recorder with him. He expected the recorder, but was a little surprised that he remembered to hold onto the sword during his panicked flight. After he had rested a while he decided to check to see if the coast was clear outside.

He tried to get up, but something held him down. He looked closer at where he sat. There were the silvery white strands of a spider web all over, barely visible in the faint light. Trav froze, and held his breath as he listened. He could hear the breathing of someone else in the tunnel. A very large someone else. With the skittering of huge insectile feet, a massive dridder came into the dim light.

Mike smelled something and said, "I smell a Dridder.........haven't had a dridder in a long time." He flew extremely fast towards the cave and landed on the dridder's shoulder and bites hard into it's neck and begins drinking its blood.

Ha'dara lookd confused "Dridder?". He looked to Luna again, "Whats a Dridder?"

The dridder screamed and grabbed at mike to throw him off and into one of the huge spiderwebs.

Trav watched the spectacle, stunned at Mike’s appearance and his attack on the dridder. After a moment, be began straining against the webs pinning him to the ground. He tried to free his arm, but the web held fast to his sleeve. But the sleeve itself was not as strong as the web, and tore in two with a ripping noise. Trav used his free arm to grab his sword and used it to hack the web apart.

Mike screamed in anger and his right hand bursted into a black flame. The webbing was consumed by the flame and Mike then attacked the dridder again. He sliced through three of its legs and bit at the base f the neck on the dridder's back.

Masurao stood in front of the entrance, inside the cave. He walked in calmly, and glared at Mike. "Mike, I know you can understand me. Get away from that Dridder, or I will FORCE you to."

Mike stared at Masuroa and hissed at him baring his fangs. The dridder was in a state that everything entered when facing a vampire. It didn't so much move a muscle at Mike anymore but moaned in pain and pleasure.

Mike was still on the dridder's shoulder, not willing to move.

"If you plan on battling him, I think your going to need some help." said Kuroda who was now standing beside Masurao. Kuroda had his sword sheathed at this point. He didn't plan on using it if he had to fight Mike, after all he didn't want to risk mortally wounding him.

Despite his best efforts, and destroying most of his shirt, Trav managed to extradite his upper body from the webbing. His legs were still stuck fast, though.

But Trav wasn’t concerned about the web anymore. He was afraid. Trav didn’t really fear death himself. He was afraid for Mike, or rather what he had become. To see the one who helped save him and Trixy from the demon, and who shared a pipe in that illusion field, transformed into this thing chilled Trav to the bone.

Trav wracked his mind for anything he could do to help Mike regain control of himself. Threats of force didn’t seem to be working. Trav wasn’t even sure if he could still comprehend speech. Earlier, Luna had shouted something about a red moon. If that was the cause of Mike’s state, then being out of the moonlight might help if he stayed long enough. If there was a lunar eclipse, it would be over soon anyway. But how to keep Mike in the cave? Even if Trav were free, he couldn’t match Mike’s power. He wouldn’t be able to restrain him.

At his wit’s end, Trav picked up his recorder. The melody might calm him or help him remember who he was. If nothing else, it might confuse or distract Mike long enough for Masurao or Kuroda to do something. Trav began playing the tune Mike had played earlier on his ocarina.

Masurao cursed once again in Japanese. "Baka, I will bring you to your senses using Tsukiyoumi if I have to!"

Mike looked at Trav and hissed at him. He still heard the music and became less tense. He landed on the ground an stalked towards Trav staring at the recorder.

Masurao deactivated his Sharingan, realizing that Mike was now calming down. He sighed with relief.

Mike stood in front of Trav and knocked his recorder away and hissed at him.

Masurao instantly grabbed Mike once he knew what was happening. "Mike!" He yelled, struggling against his power. "Don't do this!"

Mike hissed and screeched trying to snap at Trav's neck. He struggled against Masurao but his wings were pinned to his body.

"Kuroda!!! Stab this into Mike's heart!!!!" Luna shouted as she threw a sword that was in the shape of an ankh. It landed at his feet and it made Mike screech even louder at the sight of it.
