Felarya/Cross-over RP #2 (completely different thread)

Don finally managed to catch up to the group and found that Mordal was okay, For the most part anyways. As he caught his breathe he noticed that the naga wasn't as hostile as it was at first whether this was a sign of good hope or not he wasn't sure of. He looked up and noticed Mordal had dislodged Scallion from the naga's shoulder.

"Ah, thanks for dislodging Scallion for me, I can't tell you how much trouble I would be in without it" Don thanked Mordal as he scratched behind his head.

'Huh, what's up with you'

"Dammit Don, I'm not an IT, why can't you ever get that right!" Scallion shouted angily to the warlord as the leek shook about violently, reflecting the onion demoness' anger. This...was unexpected for Scallion didn't yell at him in his mind like she always did...no, this time it was out loud.

Well the secret passage part makes sense, in a place like this Nico would assume that having a secret factory is a noteable advantage, due to the large monsters who roam this place. Although this secret factory also reminded him of home that time where the aliens invaded their town, and only him and Sana were able to defeat them. But, he was sure that this Al Status was no alien, it would be pretty foolish to think that seeing as to how nice both Xiao and Alex have been to him.

"So, is Al like a scientist/mechanic? At least that's what he sounds like" Nico said before asking another question on the matter "And what's the...Isolon Eye, is it like somekind of...giant eye?"

Mordal looked at Scallion curiously. "This thing talks?" He shrugged, and handed it to Don. "This is an interesting weapon you have, Don...Powerful too."

Branden walks up tp the group/ "That is a powerful weapon, I have never seen pne like it." Branden was curious. He had seen many types of weapons before but nothing like this one.

Alex let out a chuckle as the speedway brought them under and through Negav's surrounding river, and took them deeper in.

"The Isolon Eye? Heh. I don't really know what it is myself. However, from the rumors I've heard, I'm just assuming it's some magical artifact that protects the city from predators, along with the massive defenses on the walls. Thankfully, it's range doesn't reach down here."

As Excaliber continued through the speeding elevator, Alex tended to the other question.

"Oh, and as for Al, he's a friend who's into technology like myself. However, he's also a top scientist and researcher, and he's very old. They say he's one of the top people here when it comes to machinery, beaten only by a super smart naga near the great tree and a thirteen year old girl in the Jewel River Area. Or so I've heard...."

Xiao got comfortable, giving Nico a little more room to breathe.

"Don't worry, Nico. We'll be there shortly. Me and Alex make this trip alot, since it's very safe down here."

T'Lani landed next to the group and powered-down from Super Saiyan, his hair and eyes returning to brown/black, repsectivly. He stood there and raised his eyebrow "Ok now I'm confused, she wasn't hostile?"

"Aparantly not." Mordal said.

"Good, that means I can focus on getting back to my Universe." T'Lani looked up at the Naga and spoke loud enough for her to hear "Sorry about the attack!". T'Lani took the Scouter out of the capsule in his pocket and put it on the side of his face and activted it, greeted by a lot of signals before turning it off but not taking it off "Damn, theres a lot of people living in this craphole."

Mordal closed his eyes and reached out with the Force. He could feel many living organisms as well as humans and other humanoids. "You're wrong. There are many living people on this world."

T'Lani looked over at him, slightly annoyed "That's exactly what I just said!" he growled.

Mordal looked at T'lani. My apologies...I misheard you."

T'Lani smiled slightly "No problem, everyone makes mistakes.". He raised an eyebrow "I was wondering, where does your power come from? It looks like the psychic abilities my kind use."

Mordal smiled. "It is called The Force. It surrounds every living thing in the Universe. The Force can be used due to Midichlorians, which are tiny organisms that surround everything. When a person has a high Midichlorean count, he is Force Densitive and can use the Force. There are two sides of the Force: The Light Side, and the Dark Side. I am a Jedi, which is a Force Sensitive who is on the Light Side."

T'Lani frowned "So, you can use power from the environment? Interesting, I never knew anyone but Kakarot could do that" he thought for a second "What kind of stuff can you do? I saw abilities similar to telepathy and telekinesis, are there more?"

"Yes, but I cannot show them to you now."

T'Lani looked slightly upset, then cheered up again "Oh, well. Stuck here, you will likely have to use them at some point from what I heard."

T'Lani felt something and looked to the side "Feels like a group of small powerlevels are coming in our direction."

Mordal could feel them. "They don't feel hostile." He looked up at the Naga." What's your name?" The Naga gave him a cheerful smile. "Ari." Mordal smiled back. "My name is Mordal Stridder...It seems you will get your lunch afterall...seeingthat it is the way of life here, I do not want to interfere." Ari smiled wider. "Oh goody!" She slithered off toward the group, once she figured out where they were. A minute later, screams were heard.

T'Lani cringed at the sound, noticably bothered "You know, considering my past and everything I've done, you'd think I would be used to that noise by now." he closed his eyes before opening them and turning to face him "With their powerlevels, they'd never stand a chance against her. Just a second, if we come from other worlds how do you know those people don't? You could have condemed people to death who were trying to get home."

"It's the way of life here. Just think about it...If we help every single person from a Predator, the Predators will eventualy run out of food. Then, they will die out. It's the way of life: Survival of the Fittest.

Marshal took another drag from his cigarette then cut in.

"He's right.", Marshal agreed, "It may suck for some people , but you don't mess with the natural order. It's just like Mordal said, it's survival of the fittest."

"I know, my people's whole culture was based around it. I just don't like it, that's all." T'Lani raised an eyebrow "What bother's me the most though, is that even after massacring countless worlds, I am still bothered by screams." he smiled and turned to Mordal "If you get caught off guard, don't complain, if it's the way of life here then your fairgame for them too."

"Oh, I can take care of myself." Mordal said in a joking manner."

Branden starts to walk away. "Well its been nice hanging around you guys, but I have other things to do."

T'Lani held up one finger "Good, just don't forget that you only need one mistake and your screwed." He smirked "At least I don't have to worry about being eaten, I can just blow myself up if I feel like it". Looking around he pointed behind him "I say this way would be best, theres a lot fewer beings back there." and started walking.

"Right, I should get moving as well, s'pretty nice to meet another bunch of fighters" Don said to the rest taking Brendan's decision into consideration "If you guys need anything, I won't be too far away"

"You know, that makes no real sense at all Don-kun. How the hell can you always be with these guys, unless you plan on stalking them or something" Scallion added in making the Warlord's expression drop. Not wanting to say anything back, Don simply sighed and walked away, knowing that now that Scallion could speak out loud it was going to be even more annoying than usual.

"Anywho, I'll be seein ya...you guys take care of y'selves"

Nico nodded as all was starting to come together now, from what he was told, this Isolon's Eye was like a defensive barrier, much like some barriers he's seen before a long time ago back home. Although he doubted it was powered by PSI for if it was, he would have picked up on it's energy signal by now. As far as the exlanation of Al was concearned was a highly renowned scientist, at least to Alex and Xiao, he didn't know if others knew of him being this place was, as Alex said, secret. But it wouldn't hurt to ask. "Say, do other people know about Al, I mean before you said this place was secret and stuff, so I was wondering since this whole area is hidden maybe he was too..." After this question he also remembered Alex saying that Al was into technology and came up with another question to follow up the previous one "And...was Al the one who built this mech?"

As the transport device brought them closer and closer to Al's laboratory, Alex turned to Nico with a friendly gesture.

"Well, other people know who Al is, since he has a garage directly in Negav. It links to his lab via a high transport elevator. Anyway, they see him only as he appears to be. Once you get to know him, he's much more... well, complicated...."

Before he focused back on the main screen, he told Nico one more thing.

"Oh, and Al didn't build this mech for me. I did."
