"well you go ahead then" verira says to rose. "but i thought you were with the harpy" Verira looks at Narin

"that's simple Human, you said this world was filled with Humans, and Humans are my food" Verira says to her stomach.

"well i um not im um im hee now" rose says nervously still
jack smiled "yeah this world is full of humans and nuke's"he says confidently

"oh those things. Easy to get away from actually. Just burrow yourself deep and wait a couple of days, i heard. Besides, if i just stay in the city with thousands of humans, i bet you won't use it" Verira says giggles in return.

"Anyway..." she said, seeing the tourist drive off now that he got his car going, "what exactly do we do now? Stay here? Head to one of their human cities? I doubt they'd attack us if we didn't present ourselves as a threat. We might get a lot of stares, though." she said.

"So, you're saying that we should try and fool them?" Verira asked a little confused

Rose smiles and moves over to stand net to narin while being very cautious

"should i let him out? he could tell on us, if we tried to fool the other humans" Verira asked Narin

Narin just sighed and said, "No, no, no, not trick them. You see, the thing is...I'm a vulture harpy. I eat dead things. Not alive things, dead things. Alive things make me sick to my stomach. Hence, I eat dead things." She noticed Rose moving in her direction, and didn't move as Rose approached her, not wanting to scare her.

She merely shrugged at Verira's question, saying, "Your choice. Like I said, I'm not going to trick them, because I can't eat anything alive."

"I know, but if we can't go into a city, what CAN we do? Sit out here, and hope we get transported back to Felarya somehow?" she asked.

"well, if you play along with me in the city, there won't be a problem" Verira said to Narin "but we could also try finding other Preds to team up with"

"Mmmm...I dunno. I've always been a pascifist when it comes to this sort of thing. Besides, how do we know there are others like us out there? For all we know, we could be the only ones, and IF there are more preds, how do we know there's not on the other side of the world? Unless you plan on going on a world tour or something." said Narin.

"pacifist? i do happen to eat cooked food too,though it has been over forty years since" Verira said. "so there is no reason for you to worry. as long as i get cooked food i won't have to eat the humans"
