Too bad flash isn't really my specialty. Are you using a database or just hard-coding everything in?

Every page is hard coded (to make a new page I must edit the source file). The text is taken from text files in the SVN repository

Flash's Actionscript is apparently very much like some other programming languages.

Yeah, I've worked with it a few times before. My specialty is Java/C#.

Under the council of Oldman40k2003 and /Fish/, I have decided to add another condition to adding unofficial characters to the Flash wiki.

Your characters can not directly contradict current canon.

I noticed that the danger scale for the various fauna is not in color, but I think I recall you saying that flash is processing the text as if it were HTML (for example the <b> and <i> tags work just fine.).

If that's the case, is there any reason I shouldn't begin to add color tags around the danger scale on the various fauna pages?

I had a discussion on the chatbox and /fish/ said that the flash wiki could become a dumping ground for failed characters. I don't want this to happen. One of the reasons characters often fail is because they contradict canon and people don't like that.

The original condition was "The only condition for entry is that the character must be in a story already."

Which didn't go away, the condition was just added for 'must not contradict canon'.

How do I join the flash wiki?

Talk to Anime-Junkie I believe. Him and oldman I think are the ones that edit the flash wiki.

Well Anime is usually on when I'm at school or sleeping, so he's off the list. Guess I'll have to go for oldman. Hope he took his tranquilizer yet the old geezer.
