I would quote myself with the "When whispers you hear, you have a reason for fear" for the Forest of Whispers, but if it was declined before... oh well, I'm repeating it.

You were the one who then proposed to make proverbs on places, so... Anyway, if it isn't there because it's way too specific, that's enough reason for not being there.

Also, I need to think of more, but I guess I'm running out of proverb juice. >_<

I know what you mean, I didn't realize this thread was up until a day after, and when I looked at the stuff posted most of the things I've already thought of had been used already. >_<

Trees are more than meets the eyes; they can carry a lot. (How a tree can be a Dryad or how there can be more than one predator in its branch. So in short, be on your toes in the forest.)

Discolored? Disclosed! (How strange and odd-looking discolorations in some areas are usually a bad sign)

Light at the end of the tunnel may be a poisoned gift. (Just because you got out of a bad situation doesn't mean you're safe.)

Even at the top, danger persists. (You are never safe, not even after accomplishing your goal)

When in doubt, set something on fire. (If you're in a pinch, try starting a forest fire to take the predator down with you, or at least a last laugh.)

Ur-Sagol wasn't built in a day...but it was destroyed in one night! (A warning that good things take time and effort...and then not to be overconfident about achieving your goal. Could use rewording possibly, but it came to me rather suddenly)

I did a "In Felarya, trees eat You!!" as a rumor quite a way back.

Here's one. ^.^

There could also be a new term from that, too. "Harpy-talk", the Felarya equivalent to "sailor-talk."

Hitting two Harpies with one stone/arrow/bolt (either a lightning bolt or a crossbow bolt)/bullet/whatever projectile.

Here's a few.

Even the largest fairy can be caught by her wings. (even seemingly invincible people have a weakness)

There's someone out there for everyone's stomach.

Theres more than one way to catch a Neko.

Take every tree for a dryad. (assume the worst)

A fat man chased by a naga is faster than a sprinter chased by a slug-girl (pressure can boost performance)

The tastiest prey is the one who runs fastest (a challenging task makes the satisfaction of completing it even greater)

Too many nekos spoil the stomach (too much of a good thing, though I'm not sure Crisis would agree )
