Felaryan proverbs thread

Alright, here's a couple that came to me while I was doing a little writing. Also, I did skim this thread, but if ones like these already exist and I missed em', everyone can feel free to point and laugh.

"Never leave Negav with money in the bank"
Basically, a caution against hording up a bunch of wealth, and then going out and getting eaten before you have the chance to spend it. Essentially a derivative of 'live each day like it was your last', which is especially meaningful in Felarya.

"If the price is right, sometimes you just gotta rush the naga"
One that is often (fatally) misunderstood by inexperienced adventurers. It actually has little to do with 'rushing' nagas, or other predators, but rather acknowledges the fact the every time you venture into the wilderness, you're already taking a huge risk. Thus, taking one deadly expedition with a huge payoff can actually be 'safer' than a dozen low-risk/low-reward ones. Scoffed at by some, and considered gospel by others, I imagine.

I really like the last one.

Here's a few for PREDATORS

Like I said, I saw the thread and wrote what came to my mind, I'm not claiming ownership of anything, and this thread looks to be for fun anyway not copyrighting quotes, so I assume a doubled idea is no harm no foul.

When talking about something that happends suddenly and with a lot of noise, residents of Felarya may refer to it as a "train wreck," as trains sometimes barrel through dimensional portals and crash all over Felarya.

Sorry if this isn't a proverb. I couldn't figure out where else to put it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I thought of this one, too. "To wake a sleeping neko is to wake Death itself."

Dodged the naga
A common expression indicating a narrow avoidance of danger or undesirable situation. (this one has probably already been suggested before, and I just missed it)
"Dude, I thought he was gonna press charges for sure. We really dodged the naga on that one."

Vishmital logic
An expression to indicate someone has become overly focused or obsessed with a single goal, to the point of being self-destructive. Not recommended for use around actual Vishmitals.
"No! I'm not leaving without the treasure!"
"That's Vishmital logic, man, we've gotta let it go and save ourselves!"

Militia Proverb in regaurds to the inevablitity of death, also a doubled as the proverb for death on the battle field for Endorian Soldiers

Why would the Militia be quoting Alan Seeger?

it makes them accept the fact that their dimise is likely to occure when they head deep into the jungle or face adversity. It puts them in a clam state when they In example, have no other choice but face a bloodclaw ape hoard. the words have a signifciant meaning to me.

But how did they know what Alan Seeger said if he was from Earth and not Endorian?

I agree with Jasconius - it's not really a "Felaryan" proverb if you just took the words straight from Alan Seeger's poem. It's not a "Militia" proverb.

Hunger justify the need.
