The Oblitigary Super Smash Brothers Thread

Geno I would expect him more as secret character. Then again I'm not sure if he belongs to Nintendo or Square. And Midna better be Brawl. She is the best side kick in any Zelda game by far.

So guys, did you hear about the whole Lucario, Jigglypuff, Ness debate going on?

Apparently in one of the Japanese trailers for Brawl that was on the Japanese Wii site was updated to show how stickers can upgrade your fighter's power and defenses in the Subspace Emmisary. They have little icons I guess to signify either who can get that sticker or who you're using.

This must've slipped out 'cause there were icons of Lucario and Jigglypuff next to Poké Trainer and Pikachu, as well as Ness next to Lucas.

The Japanese site has since then edited the video, but it's on youtube apparently.

Let's try to be civil about this (what looks to be) big leak.

Of course, it could be total co-incidence. After all, there is the name Slash in there as well, and as much as I'd love to see one of the Snowboard kids in brawl, it just aint gonna happen.

Dude...if you're talking about the sticker update, by "Slash" they meant defence or offense boosts of sword/claw moves.

If that's not what you meant, please elaborate.

Surely you know Slash correct? The name Slash is mentioned somewhere on the site - with a capitol S. So either the Guns n Roses legend has become a smasher, the kid from Snowboard kids has taken the reigns, or its just complete irrelivance.

Even though it'd make absolutely no sence, I don't think I'd mind seeing rock legend Slash in brawl. I mean when I play the game if it says "A New Challenger Is Approaching" and its Slash, I wouldn't question it.

Also the Wifi's still good within 310 miles we learned. What will it be like cross country? Who knows. =o

Thirdly, I heard a rumor (keyword: Rumor) that Brawl might be pushed down to February 26th. Don't quote me on it, I'm calling Nintendo and asking them if they know information about it

I'm only doing character leaks though. I'm not going anywhere near Subspace Emmisary aside from the stuff that's already been plastered everywhere.

Well, regardless, when Rythmear sees this, things are gonna go haywire.

And I'm still hoping to find out who else has made it into the game. They said there were three out-of-company cameos coming in. There was Snake, and then Sonic. Who is the third?

Well the real quote said possibly 1-2 thrid party characters after Snake. I think we're only getting Snake and Sonic. Possibly Bomberman which was the rumor of ancient Brawl Development lore.

WHAT?! We were promised 3 third party characters. I remember they said it and everything.

I know the game will still rock, but if no more characters are allowed in, it'll be quite a disappointment.
