In this canon, I imagine her not to have her normal curse of misfortune - rather she just naturally suffers from continued bad luck. As such she doesn't try to intentionally isolate herself as much as she would otherwise do. The following bio has been adjusted appropriately.

Personality:
Tarynn has an unstable character, swinging between two extremes: how she'd like to be seen by others and how she really is. In the presence of others she tries to act gracious, elegant and refined, without trying to be very chatty. Think of how a butler/maid might act around their master; being very formal, dignified and polite, but not friendly in the typical sense. However, very few people are taken in by this facade as when she is struck by one of her many blows of bad luck this 'mask' slips and she'll let her true self loose. She becomes uncouth, waspish and pessimistic, bitterly cussing everyone and everything and cynically lamenting her circumstances. During some of these times she may well forget about the presence of whoever may have been accompanying her, which may lead to them overhearing a couple of choice remarks about them! These traits make her difficult to be friends with.

She is also extremely vain, and is riddled with insecurities about her own appearance. The biggest thorn in her side are her ears, which are swept back and stubby; a very unattractive feature for an elf. She has quite narrow, sharp eyes, which some people find quite unsettling when she looks at them (it feels like a glare!) She is also notably poorly endowed. Although her face is by all other measures beautiful her thin, underdeveloped body and cold eyes gives her an overall lack of sex appeal that keeps her at the level of an acquired taste. She is completely naive of all matters sexual, often becoming very confused by the nature of some of the schools more virulent students. Unfortunately her species' natural aptitude for magic hasn't yet manifested. However, thanks to her runner's build she is also extremely quick, and is one of the fastest students in the school. She is also a fine artist, poet and seamstress. She has an excellent eye for colour and detail; abilities she has been able to use in her crafting and weaving. She dabbles in poetry when the mood takes her; generally producing quite sombre and depressing sonnets, which suit her deep, throaty voice when reciting them.

Clothing/Equipment: Wears blue jeans with black enchanted boots. Wears a blue long sleeve shirt under a black leather vest, the inside of it lined with throwing knives and a few grenades. He also carried two swords with him katana style, and a hidden knife in his sleeve, he also carries a flare gun for emergencies.

Abilities/Skills: Lance's boot are very useful in combat and running away from threats. They allow his movement to be sped up significantly where normal humans and nekos cannot keep up with his movements. Giant Predators have a better chance of catching him and seeing up due to the overhead view and the wider range of vision, which makes avoiding them a game of speed, not combat. He is very skilled at duel swordplay, having been practicing at a young age and perfecting it upon his first few years in Felarya. He is fluid in his movements and can easily defeat anyone who is to broad in their attacks or movements, especially with his footwork which is sped up significantly because of his boots. The strength enchancement allows his kicks to deal devestating damage.

Personality: He is a brilliant thinker and opportunist, taking advantage of any situation he thinks he could profit from and using his envoirnment to his advantage. Lance is talented at fighting but tends to avoid it as he hates the sensation of pain. He is cunning enough to know when he can weasel his way out of a situation without force. He is not He is very afraid of spiders, dridders included and avoid them at all costs, known to scream very high pitched when seeing them. Lance is also quite indifferent to others suffering, finding it easier to taunt the one causing the suffering in a playful manner to ease his own tension. He is not afraid to admit his own survival skills may include dishonest or cowardly tactics, whether it be using cheap tricks, blackmail, or even other lives, he is always willing to bargain to save his own life and does not mind seeing other humans or prey races die in his place, taking pride in the fact he is alive, and they are not. He has an unhealthy lack of fear for predators, approaching them like friends and willing to chat for lengthy period, under no impression that he could be eaten, even trusting predators he may have befriended to approach them unarmed, or without his boots, or protection of another predator.

Backstory: Lance was born in Felarya in the city of Negav. His mother raised him alone from a young age as his father abandoned them to join a band of slavers. They lived in poverty for most of his life and when he turned 14 he became sick of the constant lack of food and the general bitterness of most of his fellow humans. He fled Negav and took to a life in the wild, knowing its dangers full well from the stories of traders and mercenaries who traveled through Negav. Lance survived as he had his whole life, he used his brain. He recognized a dangerous situation before most people could, and as a result he avoided many non-sentient predators and carnivorous plants. Food was an easier issue in the wild, berries and food from the packs of dead travelers fueled him for a little over 2 years. But at 16 he met his first Sentient Predator, a fairy. She introduced herself as Alexa and they talked for sometime about common thingsd about them, wings, hair color, Lance's very deep green eyes, before she declared her intentions, to bring him home, show off, and eat him. Lance really had no choice in the matter as she had shrunk him and was carried to her home deep in the jungle. Alexa's sister, Kaitlyn, upon seeing how young Lance was she became angered, telling Alexa to let her go. Lance remained silent through the spat, being taken by force from Alexa and hid in Kaitlyn's private "getaway." Lance and Kaitlyn became friends, and despite offers from Kaitlyn to guide him he never wished to return to Negav. They clashed several times over conflicting views on the nature of Felarya. Lance having used it to his advantage before from taking packs of dead adventurers. But despite their differences they became very close friends, and not long after they fell in love. This was appalling to everyone in the family besides Alexa, who actually liked Lance, despite having tried to eat him. Kaitlyn's eldest sister tried to kill Lance but they fled into the forest. Feyweed began to affect Kaitlyn and her sister to the point where they were drawn far to close to it, Lance, who was normal sized, easily saved Kaitlyn from the Feyweed but allowed her sister to be eaten by the flower, much to his amusement. After that Kaitlyn thanked Lance for saving him and they departed together and have been partners ever since. Alexa being the only member of the family they still talk to.

Abilities/Skills: Kaitlyn is a good flyer and very skilled at size shifting magic. Her physical strength is lacking but her magical skills are very adept, able to use fire, water, ice, wind, electricity and the Earth itself as he weapons, though she does not use them often, prefering non-lethal methods of restrining her opponents.

Personality: Kaitlyn is very kind and generous, refusing to eat any sentient being and is largely vegetarian, refusing to feed on most animals unless she is very hungry. She has an even temperament and is usually Lance's voice of reason due to her calm thinking under pressure and knowledge of Felarya that Lance lacks. She is also quite vein when regarding herself, very self-conscious about her looks and always wanting to look her best. She is easily insulted and is quick to tears, tending to buckle when people hit her soft spots emotionally or strike a "low blow."

Backstory: Kaitlyn was born into a normal fairy family. She had 4 sisters, a mother and an absent father that she has never met or even heard his name. She grew up as an outcast, no one in her family paying attention to her because from a young age, since she was old enough to, she refused to eat humans, nekos or anything of the sort. She claimed they looked just like her and were not food, refusing to resort to "cannibalism" as she called it. She was distance from her family further upon seeing her sisters shrink and eat a human family, mother, father, and children. She called them monsters and brawled with them momentarily until their mother broke it up. She has not spoken a word to 3 of her sisters since that day. At the age of 13 she met Lance, who was 16 at the time. Her sister Alexa brought him home to show her mother, Lance being Alexa's first catch. Kaitlyn having this being the snapping point, since Alexa was the only one she was still close to, took Lance from her and hid him from everyone. After a few years they fell in love witch prompted her oldest sister to try to eat Lance. Lance and Kaitlyn ran as she tried to attack him, running for hours through the forest, but both Kaitlyn and her sister were trapped by a Feyweed's aroma, Kaitlyn being saved by Lance but her sister being quickly devoured. Lance and Kaitlyn ran away that day, never returning back there and have been partners ever since.

History: Before Felarya, Julius had seen many wars and conflicts on his world. It was only at the age of 13 when he witnessed Centralists take rise into power as the new government. His parents had died in the chaos caused by global war before Centralist. As the years grew by, he had seen dramatic changes when Central took power, surprisingly their rule was not at all harsh nor did it seek to serve its own selfish interests. He had come to love and respect Central with all of his heart and was a patriot at heart. At the age of 16, he joined the military and took part of the colonization in Felarya. Fortunately for him, he was able to sign up as an officer because of his intelligence, though that alone will not grant him the respect from the lower ranking soldiers. After exiting the dimentional portal, his left eye developed a strange genetic mutation which made it turn purple along with a useful ability. He now travels with Professor Langsley on a mission to save his homeworld.

Personality: Because of what Julius had been through, one would think that his personality would have been somewhat dark. But this was not the case, for when Central took power, they practically took care of Julius along with many other unfortunate orphans. He has a cheerful disposition and he is an idealist, who always fought to protect and serve Central. However, his naiveté made him prone to be easily deceived by many people, his awkwardness and inability to shut up tends to annoy many of his fellow soldiers. Nevertheless, he loves to make new friends and he is an adventurer at heart.

Abilities: His purple eye allows him to see clearly at night as if it were day. His vision and instincts become heightened and he could even see glows of a person's life force which becomes useful in spotting predators sneaking around trees at night. However, during the day his purple eye becomes blind and his sight becomes rather limited.

History: Before Felarya, Sidonis spent much of his years studying archeology and biology. His dedication and intelligence made him the man he is today. He essentially lived a happy, normal childhood, yet as he grew up, he had learned to become very manipulative, which gave him quite a bit of influence within Central's government. After the final global war, he had help build Central's government, this gave him many respects from both the commoners and the officials. He had also planned the colonization that took place in Felarya, he led his men into the unknown to seek out adventure and new scientific knowledge that awaited him in Felarya. As a person with a mysterious background however, the officials had assigned 2 special people to watch him as he conducted his expedition in Felarya

Personality: Professor Langsley is somewhat of a eccentric. Most of the time he is very cheerful and has a happy-go-lucky attitude. In spite of all this, his views of morality are somewhat twisted. He does not acknowledge morality as a practical concept, but he does see it as a 'coward's excuse for not doing what is necessary'. To him, right and wrong means nothing, all that matters is knowledge and scientific truth. This doesn't mean that he enjoys cruelty nor does he like to take unnecessary risks. He does have value friendships, but never to the point where he would risk his life to save them. He sees friends as people who help him get rid of everyday boredoms and rarely trusts other people to get close.

Hans is a transhuman offworlder who owns a small home in Negav. Most of his body is mechanical due to a life changing operation. The only parts of him that remain organic are his left arm, his right fore arm, his right leg, his right shoulder, and most of his upper torso. His mechanical implants are silvery colored steel, his right forearm is organic, but also has mechanical implants to prevent muscle decay. His stomach region is artificial, however it houses his organs, most of which are sustained by implants as well. His belly button is a circular outlet for which a tube is inserted to feed him via IV as he does not have a head. Unlike most humans, he does not need much organic supplements to sustain him. Often times, he can just run on electricity of any kind to sustain his implants. Food, water, and other supplements are still necessary to him but on a weekly basis rather than daily. As for the matter of his brain, parts of them which contain his emotions, memory, consciousness, judgement, and creativity are surgically placed in his chest cavity. The brain parts are implanted to keep them active and stable where they are, while processing units are added on to control his motor functions. The sensory equipment, along with the electric voice box, are stored in the artifical neck stub so that Hans may function normally like that of a human being... with the exception of eating with a mouth.

Hans wears a white dress shirt, a red bowtie and black suspender pants. He often wears black leather gloves and shoes to keep people's attention away from his artificial parts and more into his music, though does little good considering how people see that he has no head. In Felarya, he often wanders around with a wooden keyboard on his back.

Hans was born both a blessed and cursed child. He was diagnosed with an illness that rotted most of his being, it had said that his life expectancy was 30 years at best before the illness would corrupt all of his vital parts. Having no wishes to care for him, his parents had left him in an orphanage where he was secluded, but cared for by the caretaker, who became a grandfatherly figure to Hans and taught him the joys of music on the piano. Over the years, as sick and abandoned as he was, Hans' love for music and dedication for the piano led him to become famous on his world, where he was loved by many adoring fans. His music brought such emotion and charmed the hearts of thousands who have heard his concerts. But at the age of 24, Hans was given an ultimatum, whether to risk his life now to save whatever he had left in an experimental surgery, or to live off the last 5 years in death. He chose the surgery in hopes of living longer in his world, and it had paid off... at a terrible price. The surgery itself was a risk that Hans knew could kill him right then and there, but he also knew that it was a chance for him to increase his life span dramatically, so after the waiver was signed, he was sent to the operating room by the doctor who performed the surgery. During the surgery, the doctor had realized that certain unprecedented modifications had to be made to keep Hans alive, the removal of his head and the implantation of sensory equipment in his neck stub was something that no one had foreseen, except maybe the doctor who only saw it as a slight possibility. The head could not be preserved, but parts of his brain that held his memories, emotions, creativity, and reasoning could be salvaged and was thus surgically implanted in empty spaces of his chest cavity, which were all kept alive through several implants. When Hans woke up from his surgery, he immediately knew something was wrong when he noticed that his groan sounded monotonous and electric. When the doctor gave him an image of himself in the mirror, Hans panicked and went in a frenzy, flipping tables and smashing windows before storming out of the building in utter despair as if he were trapped in a nightmare. With his head and most of his limbs gone, people could no longer appreciate his work because of how repulsive his new look was. He had no one else in the world, his Caretaker, the only one who truly loved him as he was, had died of old age during his surgery. Drowning in sadness and despair, Hans attempted to commit suicide as he jumped off the bridge, little did he know that he had stumbled into a dimensional portal towards the Felaryan world. As Hans woke up, he began to question and even criticize his very existence, but though as depressed as he was, he decided that even suicide would not be satisfying to him, so now he wanders around Felarya, wanting to find that satisfaction that had eluded him for years. His music, though extremely touching to the soul, could now only touch souls with sounds of sadness and melancholy.

Hans is a reserved fellow, often depressing and shy. He does not really care for conversations with people he knows would never care for someone like him. He often holds a low self-image of himself, not even recognizing the genius of his piano talents. His electronically monotonous voice often keeps others at a distance. This history of prevailed loneliness has often given him a paradoxical need for companionship. Most of the time in Felarya he is kept from being eaten usually through his questionable appearance, which often makes predators think that he is unappetizing or poisonous, or his music, which instills feelings of sympathy and sadness into the predators.

History: Born and raised in the poorer parts of Negav, Baker never really had the luxury to go study magic nor did he had the talent for it. He lived on his own with his uncle who struggled to work just to meet ends meet. Baker was pretty much homeschooled, so he never really got out to socialize with other kids. Nevertheless, he was still a bright and upbeat person, always curious about technology to make up for his inability to fulfil his dream of being a Magiocrat. Believing that magic and science were both one and the same, he stayed at home, tinkering with small knick-knacks using parts that he would find around the streets. His inventions, though in their prototype stage, were quite popular with the other kids in his neighborhood, most typically imitated the effects of that of real magic, though none were really effective. Soon enough, he was able to raise enough money to buy better materials to work with, and after the death of his uncle, he inherited the home and converted it into a small workshop that he would come back to from time to time whenever he was inspired. He currently wanders around Felarya, wanting to see magic first hand and plan on how he could use technology to replicate that sort of magic.

Personality: A very curious fellow and a lively person. He tends to follow his instincts when travelling around Felarya and take caution as he observes others in combat or practice with magic. He always seems to take every situation with a smile, as his philosophy goes: "Every magician, whether they be stage performers, adventurers, or politicians, should always carry a smile even on their darkest moments, because that's when they can build the moment where they perform that one miracle that most have been dying to see."
